Push Putty by joezeng

[raw]
made by joezeng for LD35 (JAM)
A game where you try to get a shape to turn into another shape by pushing rows and columns of blocks around like they're putty, hence the name.

I kinda got really sidetracked in the past few days, so there isn't much to look at. But everything works, at least.

nice! i was not completely sure what the rules for moving certain rows were (like #7). kind of glad there's no move counter. :) cool take on the theme.

Nice work. The idea is actually similar to what I was thinking of when I started my game, but then I actually changed it a lot and it's completely different now. Like the previous commenter, I don't think I fully understood the rules for moving certain rows/columns. I thought it might be to do with the number of connections or something, but I couldn't figure it out.

Cool puzzle! It's too bad there is no victory detection :( I succeeded almost all levels except the 7!
Good job :)

Nice little puzzle game, but the moving rules are very confusing.

Couldn't figure out Level 3, the mechanics there seem fishy to me. Also, would be good if the levels noticed you beat them and took you on to the next level.

I like puzzles, especially with simple but challenging mechanic, and this one is a great one ! I manage to solve all of the shapes, but it was not so easy. Well done. :)

As many have commented, the rules were a little tricky to work out, but in the end it all makes sense. Solid entry.
