Gotta Groove! by hissssssssss
Billy loves to dance. Don't dance in inappropriate situations!
---------------------------------
The warm-up aspect of this game more involved the presentation and graphics than game code. I can pull together game code quickly, but always hit a wall when it comes to graphics. This was originally for the 8-bit Hack-A-Jam competition.
I started to have a lot of fun making backgrounds and dancing people! I hope I can eventually start to look forward to the graphic creation stage, rather than dreading it.
(There's a minor timing bug that I might fix in v1.1, while I experiment with making and adding chiptune music before LD26.)

But then I did a few rounds of testing with real numbers before packaging it up, and the funeral can be a real challenge. Ow ow ow.
Was it obvious enough when it was OK to dance?
