You are in a shifting universe that is inspired by the superposition principle (see Schrodinger's cat). The areas near you are more stable because you can sense them better. Further away, the spaces fluctuate between free and blocked. Sometimes the universe as a whole is more stable or less stable. You are looking for your lost cat named Pixel. Pixel affects the universe differently from you, because she is a cat. She tends to unblock the spaces near her, which lets her wander freely. You will not be able to see her until you get close, but you might be able to make out where she is at because the shifting walls will be different around her. Sound is not implemented, so you cannot hear her blert, sorry. Use the arrow keys to move, Space and Esc pause. Reload page to restart. You can move into the red squares in the spaces around you, diagonal movement is allowed. If you press against a black square you can slowly tunnel through, but it's probably faster to back up and let the maze change to make a path.

It's a very interesting game, even though I became blind in the end, I found my cat. Together at last!

Actually you don't go blind in the end (despite what it looks like)... once you reunite with your cat all the barriers of the world dissolve and you are free to go wherever (As long as you don't outrun your cat, which is kind of hard to do because the walls start to block you again before the cat looses track of you. Not impossible though.)

That was amazing. I was going to go to sleep but I just had to find my cat! I loved the maze mechanic and how the cat affected the walls as well.

That are some gorgeous visuals! The game ran really slow in my Firefox, but I played to the end anyway.

I got trapped in a tiny space and was unable to move far enough from the other end of the corridor to fizzle the walls away. :C

Nevertheless, this is a really cool concept. :D

Buster, keep pressing against a wall and it will slowly disappear. Just hold down the arrow key in the direction you want to go.
