Shapeshipster is a shoot'em up game.
You can change you ship shape at any moment, between Square Circle and Triangle.

Each shape shoot different, also the Circle shape doesn't fear Circle bullets and will one shot Circles enemies. Use the good shape at the good moment !

It's done with HTML5 technologies and my own engine the "Dream-Engine" (on github)

Better with a gamepad ;)

For me the first thing was unique graphics, apart from that you could distinguish shots shapes a bit more, but it is cool!

The circle can win just by staying close to the top middle, you will never get hit that way aside of that nice game

This is the best shoot-em-up I've played so far. Controls feel very polished, the psychedelic art style is incredibly trippy (I love it!!) and music is great as well.

Congratulations!

Great game but imo it's way too easy.

Awesome graphics and soundtrack though!

The game is really pretty and the audio is pretty well done. The game is fun but it got too laggy for me when things got hard, so I didn't get to experience and challenge. Also, the shape shifting didn't work, I could press space to shoot but I couldn't press x, y, or b to shape shift.

Got through to the end - enjoyed playing it a lot! It was kinda annoying having to go through the tutorial again when I died as it was quite long but it did a very good of explaining the game mechanics clearly. Nice job!

Nice game! I got 58265 points. Barring performance issues, I thought it was really fun figuring out this alternative bullet hell. I played it trying to find the one place I could sit with a certain weapon that would hit all the enemies on screen, which was a really fun puzzle.

Cool game idea, the circle is a little too OP and you can win the whole game without ever changing from it. But really nice work overall

Love, love, LOVE this!
I couldn't figure it out at first, playing with the keyboard I was unable to shapeshift, but once I connected the gamepad it all made sense.
When I got to the end, I carried on flying around firing bullets everywhere, just because... pretty. ;)

Excellent. You should keep working on this!

Nice graphics and music! The thing I don't like is having to repeat the "tutorial" part everytime (or maybe I missed something?), for the rest well done!

The graphics and music is really well done! The game also plays well most of the time though it started lagging a bit with a lot of stuff on screen.

Still you did a great job, be proud! :D

The game was confusing and laggy at times, but overall a good game that keeps you playing. I didn't understand anythig at first because of the bad instructions on screen. I didn't like the like of feedback (visual and audio) when you destroy things
