made by udo for LD36 (JAM)
You have been hired by The TLA to oversee the excavation of ancient alien technology.

This is an incomplete ASCII-driven base building game made from scratch by me for LD36. I'm going to put up a timelapse in the following days, as well as maybe my archived stream. Although I didn't get to finish this, I might put up a post LD version of some kind later.

Tools:
- text editor
- Cinema 4D
- Audacity
- OBS
- Coda 2

Libraries & 3rd-party resources:
- jQuery, Lodash, Howler.js

Hi, nice game and congratulations ! Simple mechanics that still offered a decent amount of challenge. We're realizing a video with several games of the Ludum Dare #36. We made the same thing at the previous jam.

Can you add your game on indiexpo.net ? (it's free)
So we can include also your game in the video ;)
p.s. write #LDJAM in the game's description.

hmm, how far can I play this? I have extractors, generators, a fabricator, and it seems like that's it?

Overall, the style is really need, with the retro interface and the message. Would love if there's more happening in this game :)

I just had to read the source code to find out there really isn't anything else than just making random things.

Well, at least it looks good. :)

Not much here, reminds me of your killbot games. Was there going to be a resource system with different materials or more different buildings? I would enjoy a game with an economy/base building aspect.

Everybody I'm sorry, it just didn't work out this time. However, I do take exception with the statement that the Killbot games didn't have content either. They were complete games, with stories, and endings.
