Quantum Fear

Fear is a state in the mind of the observer. And act of observing changes the observed environment...

Use WASD to move, mouse to look, left and right mouse to focus light and blink. Best played in dark room with headphones :)

Ingame menu allows changing of difficulty and gamma for lazy and scared.


Build with Unity, Visual Studio (for writing small program to convert 2d drawn map into 3d maze), Paint.Net, Audacity, microphone, old Casio keyboard and handful of Unity standard assets and some sounds from freesound.org.

There's only one level (few minutes of play), otherwise I'm really happy with it, I've done almost all I wanted.

I can move about five feet and no matter what i do, I get "spiderwebs" in my eyes and can't see anything and then i get killed.

Really good entry for the horror theme. I didn't like to be in that cave at all, which is of course good thing in this case, and after few tries got out eventually - not sure how, lost my orientation badly. Not going back :D

The cavern system looked "realistic" enough and was nice altogether. Great work.

I kept getting disoriented and dying. Atmosphere was decent, and I was glad the blinking mechanic wasn't annoying. I've seen blinking mechanics before where the player character NEVER STOPS blinking. Ugh.
