This was the other idea I had came up with for Ludum Dare 25.
There is more work in it than I would have gotten in the Dare, but I like the concept a lot better after having worked on both.

I like the art style. It's simple but consistent. I found the 1/2/3 actions to be a little stubborn, I'd often have to press the key several times before the action (not currently showing a timer) would fire.

It had a surprising amount of depth, and I enjoy the crude, sketched artwork. My wishlist: little sounds for each action, or some 'hit' animation, and some way to stop that annoying shield ability! Also, it may be an unintentional cheat, but it seems like you can just heal yourself over and over, leaving you with hundreds of extra health.
