Made this for #1GAMCRUNCH as well, so it was done from 8pm Friday til 8pm Sunday. It fits their theme (Hidden Surprises) as well as the Real World very well :)

Play as a garage sale visitor, trying to turn $200 into as much as you can over 5 days. It's not done by far, but it completely works and has all of the most important features in it!

Controls and info are in the tutorial, which is very short so shhhhh!

Also, major congrats to Ariel (who did the art) for making such an awesome main menu, it's tied for my favorite thus far :D

Well thanks very much, I appreciate that a lot! That's why I decided to keep it shorter; without a lot of the extra planned stuff, I figured it would be more fun to be quick and beat-your-score-ish (even if it doesn't have a score board yet LOL)

And I don't know if you even do vote on these mini LDs, to be honest :)

Good idea :) The estimated value of the same item may change if you select it again. Also it misses music and sounds. Also you should consider adding something else for difficulty besides random numbers (approaching zombies you need to throw one of your items at?).

Yeah, I didn't have time to come up with a way to set the estimated value the same if you click on it twice (it randomly sets it based on your knowledge when you click as it is... Although I'm sure I could just make another array at the beginning of each day to do that in hindsight...)

And yes! One of the main things we wanted to put in it are some AI people... Whether they simply walk around and block areas, if they purchase things, or who knows what else, they'd be vital to giving it some life. We really wanted to fit "special items" that glitter to show their exceptional value, but to get to them you'd have to spend time in line instead of shopping for other things.

I really like the concept and overall i can see you worked hard and liked doing this game :) Art is also pretty and colorfull. Love the ideas for the items, they get me curious :) I also like the start menu with the boxes.

I really like the suggestions made and putting more ai people would certainly improve the game experience. :)

It's nice and all, but I didn't really see a Zombie in this game until now... Should I play it longer ?!? :)

This game was well put together for the time allowed. I liked the art a lot! The message system seemed to work nicely! The dialogue wasn't too heavy or too light. Just enough to get the point across. Funny when it needed to be.

The only negative was the main mechanic of buying / guessing the price of these goods got old pretty fast. I would suggest adding some sort of haggle option to try and get the price down a bit.
