That night was a boring night.
Oh ! The new MiniLD ... Can I try it in just 4 hours ?

Challenge accepted !

So, here is my "four hours" game : Fish Fight.
It needs to be played by two people on the same machine.

Fish 1 (left) : 'W' to go up - 'D' to throw a bubble
Fish 2 (Right) : 'UP ARROW' to go up - 'LEFT ARROW' to throw a bubble

... and that's all ^^.

Let's go to bed now. See you guys.

Did some addons :

-> blood on hit (quite a basis, for this theme ^^)

-> combos

Fire the big bubble : back down back back down fire

Fire the huge bubble : back down back down back back down down fire

Well... there's the water but... where's the blood? I killed my partner (a.k.a my other hand) and no blood shows up.

Hahaha ... Yeah I though of that when I finished it. Well I have until the 31st to add blood :). I 'll do it maybe if I have any time.

I just tried for 10 minutes to do the huge bubble combo and failed horribly.

Only problem I have is with multiple (4+) key inputs. But I believe that's a hardware/OS problem.

That's a huge bubble! Wish I had someone else here to play, but I don鈥檛 dare to wake up my girlfriend at 4 am to force her to play this game with me :)
So I played against myself and although this is not the new sea-fighter ultra turbo II it is fine for 4 hours I think. The combos made my night :)

Nice. The blood looks good.
I didn't succeed in combo's, but I never play these kind of fighting games. So I have to do them really quick or in a steady pace?

I haven't tried playing this against anyone, but the coding seems solid. I can see this being a fun game to play against a sibling or friend. Nice blood effect.

One minor nitpick is that the combos don't seem to do that much more damage than the regular shot. (Or possibly I screwed up when entering them.)
