Towels for Earth by Spelchan

[raw]
made by Spelchan for MINI42 (-)
A fairly simple game Created on Towel Day. While I suppose I could spend tomorrow adding sounds and more complex gameplay, I want this to be a towel day game so this is the final version. I am taking advantage of the looser mini rules to use some artwork from some of my other games. The game requires Flash to play (my postmortem coming Thursday will explain why this wasn't a HTML5 game as I originally planned). Simply click to toss a towel at a demolition beam. If any beams get by you (there are 42 beams launched at you) the Earth gets destroyed.

Shame no sound, mind you what sound would a towel make? Some angles of approach make getting a towel in place tricky, at least for someone with my arcade skills.

Holy crap, cleared it first try... Frustrating for the first few seconds, but it felt like the game was taunting me, so I couldn't stop.

If you could add something to show the player exactly where the towels are being shot from (for calculating angles of shots), that would be a huge help.
