Kinda cool game, however the lack of player action kinda makes it boring. U can just spam space and let the game play itself. Would be soo much better if there were cards that either helped u or hurt the opponent that u could keep in a hand. That and some form of online play to hide hands would be great. This game does have potential. After all, there's no rule that says u can't expand on a game made for this jam.

Loved the idea behind this game, the graphics are pretty decent for the board-game-esq type game play. Level design could probably do with a little tweaking, seems unfair at points, but overall very good

Very slick indeed! Haha, this reminds me why family games at Christmas always end up in arguments. :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye: Great work. Would be nice if some extra cards or something could be used. Colorized already mentioned that above my comment and I agree.

@colorized @arkiruthis Yeah i only got around 10 hours to work on the game but would have liked to get more time to add new cards and more variety so it's less random.

I really like the game idea, but it is a bit boring to play. The lack of player action makes it feel a bit boring actually. I would really appreciate if you could continue this game.

Nice game, you could do other options of interactions between the player to make the game more interesting, but nice concept.

You have a solid basis, now it should be "easy" to add content and make it interresting . I think if you focus on the theme (which is not currently very well respresented: randomly killed pawns is not really sacrifice) it could become very fun.

Nevertheless, if you managed to do that in 10 hours as you say, it's very impressive (espacially the visuals).

If you improve it, please let me know!

Good job! Nice graphics and sounds! The cube sometimes stuck on the edge :) But it worked. The only downside I can see is the pure randomness :)

I don't like board games, when you can win only by luck. Besides that I think that I will play this with my friends!

Quite a polished game. I like board games. However this is based only on luck which can be boring for some players. Games like snakes/chutes and ladders are such luck-based board game. A quick way to add player interaction would be to allow the player to put another token in play and chose which one to move; Like in Parcheesi. Also a little thing I noticed was that the chance card goes back on top of the pile which felt weird, it should go under the pile or maybe move it off screen. Nice work!

As others have stated the gameplay is a little lacking. There isn't much to do but cross my fingers and hope I don't get squished. I played a whole game where we just took turns rolling 4's and getting smashed immediately. (I think I won though.) And hitting spikes at the end after finally making good progress for 10+ turns is heartbreaking.

That said, you did an incredible job overall. The graphics are spectacular for a jam game, let alone compo, and you put a great deal of polish into this. With a little more work on interaction I could see it being outstanding!
