Hello! I'm FisherG.

After a long weekend, a saturday of family stress in which no work was done, and a crammed sunday, I present to you, "A Deal on the Moon"

=Controls=

Movement - Arrow Keys Interact/Shoot - 'X' or 'Z' Chek Health - 'C'

LDScreenShot3.png

=Story=

You play as an astronaut crash landing on the moon in an 'inescapable valley'. You make your way through a canyon and are greeted with a lone shopkeeper, who reveals he wants more than your money, your soul! With him as your only way out, you need to find 2 vessels to withold your soul to exchange for a repaired rocket, and then fly out.

=Tips=

1.Talk to him twice.

2.If you die, you'll be returned to the shopkeeper's room, with full health.

3.Any time you go to the shopkeeper's room you'll have full health.

4.Kill enemies, because if you don't you'll have to back track through them!

=Known issues= The combat system is wack.

Did you change the title/URL on the itch page after submitting? I am getting a 404.

Edit: fixed!

The mood here is great, minimal but such a pleasant use of color. Very nice job!

Nice, like the pixels. Had a little bit of a problem determining whats floor and walls since they are the same color. Good job!

It was too easy, but I definitely love the graphics. The story is a little bit crazy (why is Satan on ... the moon? :) ) and music is cool.

@daria-toni Yeah, I definitely wish it was harder, and wanted a better combat system! Maybe I'll make an update with turn-based combat ;)

@mertios Sorry man. GMS2 only offers HTML5 export for people willing to hunk $150. SHeesh.

@fishergoodwin Man, that is harsh. I took it for granted - Unity has that out of the box! As for your game, I really like your pixel art!

@mertios Woah Unity does? What is YoYo doing man?

@fishergoodwin Yup, everything Unity offers you can do for free. Paying just removes the watermark.

Love the graphics - very nice pixel art on the spaceman and ship. The collision was a bit confusing with the 2.5d walls. Won't spoil the end, but nice fx the exit.

Don't know if the app you use has an HTML export, but it'd be cool to see this on the web so it's more accessible to non-pc players / mobile players.

Very flavorful. I feel bad for all the moon frogs I killed. Kind of wish it had been longer, but it's understandable given the time constraints, and what you have really works well.

@johnnysix Check the convo I had earlier with Mertios on this page, explains why I can't export to web.

@fishergoodwin - Shame dude! Well if you're planning on doing more - I'd start saving some cash towards it, or maybe look at some other tools, like Unity / Construct etc. as it'd open your games up to a wider audience. :) Keep it up, and good luck!
