Aquariumus - Too Many Fishes ! by GoZz

Welcome to Aquariumus - Too Many Fishes
Please play the game on the stand-alone version as it provides a better experience
The aim of the game is to manage an Aquarium.
If you have a species that is too present, you have great chances to break the equilibrium of the aquarium and destroy all of the species. Be aware, difficulty grows over time, the more you go, the more the species will eat or produce. There are some spells available to help equilibrate the game. You can check the number of days you survived in the top right corner, do not hesitate to leave your score in the comments.

Nice looking art, and a cool sound ambiance (the "reproduction spell" sound made me laugh as it was so unexpected).
The mechanism are well fitting the theme.
I lacked of feedback about where I am regarding the fail conditions, it just happened at some point :(
It could have helped and add a lot of pressure if I knew that I was about to loose.
Well done!
@ekilibr : haha thanks buddy, it is a little hard but the circles around the species gives ou feedback about the ideal condition of a species (if it goes red the fish have a great chance to die). By the way I hope you loved my voice (modified of course) for the reproduction spell :p
Browse the "Help" menu (maybe renamed in "How to play" in the last relase) to have a good understanding of the interface.
In game, the "pause" key is part of the gameplay, use it to stop the game while being able to browse the interface to gather informations about your current game's status. it gives you time to think, abuse it.
Also, you can zoom out with the scroll button to have a better view.
Don't forget to zoom out with the scroll button to have a clear view of the game, we forgot to indicate it in-game ^_^"
Loved the music and the SFX, especially the reproduce spell hahahaha
Great job guys!
Thanks for all the comments guys :)
It's very well polished, and the sound effects for the reproduction or the hand of death are as unexpected as fun x).
To be perfect, the game could have a little more feedbacks on defeat condition or actual state of the aquarium, but at this state, the game still very good ! :)
Great stuff!!
Um conceito legal para o tema, bom trabalho.
Also I wonder why you guys decided to use a round-handled dowsing rod for the love berserk icon (ak ak ak).
HAND OF DEATH, then peace. Very very well done, congratulations.
There are lots of min/max values I need to remember and I need to discover each species' feature!
After a few times of losing I think I know more about those species and I start feeling I am really managing this small world!
Thanks for giving me a great time!
Equilibre is hard to found but the game stay fun. Bravo
Highly polished, and good music, too!
Beautiful graphics and I enjoy sounds and music.
(Some sounds and the reproduction icon made me laugth ^^)
I reached 11 days.
Beautiful art, chill happy music, overall great entry!
I'm gonna try that!
+ holded 12 days, am a fish papa :P
This is an interesting concept, I played the web version and most of the tooltips on the right weren't fitting the screen size so I lost a lot of information.
It wasn't quite easy to understand some of the measurements on the top and how one could affect them, with a bit more explaining I think you can have a lot more engagement.
Congrats on this entry!

Smooth graphics, game just works, and play very weirdly. It took me quite a while to figure out what to do and how it worked. But once that, it's very cool. I liked the love magic! :D
But the game is really good and addictive ! When one species start to increase without limit, the panic come, it's really fun !
I enjoyed playing it very much, the graphics and the audio are great. The game looks very polished and it is obvious a lot of effort has been poured into it. If I have one addition is that some introduction or tutorial is needed so that players don't get frustrated easily.
But even without a tutorial, I enjoyed it very much. Congratulations :)
@archimagus : thanks, as said just before we ran ouf of time to prepare a tutorial to explain how to play clearly. In fact it is quite easy to learn but hard to master. One species is carnivorous (green fish), one is herbivorous (eats plants and seed : the red fish), one eats wastes (seeds and poop : the rabbit-slug), one consume pollution and creates acidity (cells) and plants creates oxygen and consume some pollution. They all consume some stats (oxygen, acidity or pollution) to create another resource. All can be checked on the right.
By the way, thanks everybody for your feedback and support ! We'll try to update it a little to make it more enjoyable post LD :)
