The basic mechanic is solid and produces many interesting situations, but many of the elements around it are a bit generic and don't \"play into\" each other, this is something where if you had not just one but several themes that all work together, the game becomes a lot more interesting and easier to expand on - in my devlog for my compo entry I play a \"coherence game\" to brainstorm such a set of themes, and then used that to come up with all of the major ideas of the game. The song was nice the first time, but got annoying after just a few loops. The graphics are all nice, and the falling tiles going all the way down is a nice touch. I really appreciate that you can't fall down the holes you make while you walk. And maybe it's just me, but I feel like sometimes player's hitbox is a little wonky, but I'm probably wrong.
