Simple but fun ! i think you shoulf try to remove the inertia in the movement, the controle sera more accurated and nervous

Fun little game however it confused me a bit that how the graphics were and the initial position of your player i thought it was a platformer but it was a topdown map :) Maybe try to reflect that in your graphic next time.
