ShapeTests by PremadeGames

ShapeTests is a simple endless-runner with a unique twist!

== STORY ==
Futuretech wants to publish their new shapes to the market. But before they can do that, they have to study already existing shapes with their shape testers! Test as many shapes as you can!

== HOW TO PLAY ==
To change your shape, click on one of the buttons on the bottom. You always have to change to the shape that the next scanner requires (indicated by the sign ontop of it)

You have three lives which are displayed at the top of the screen.

== About ==
This was my first full project in Unity. I learned so much from it. The music was made by my good friend Felix Bartling (@R3D1T3C) in just a few hours! Without him this game would probably be very mute (and also distored. thanks for showing me the audio mixer :P)

The audio is amazing! Your voice overs are really cool and the music is great. The game is too easy at the beginning, I would make the game speed up faster. Also, after I reached point 50 a lot of things started to flicker like the images of the shapes and the lighting. I would give the audio a 5/5!

1. The soundtrack is pretty solid.
2. It's way too easy.
3. The images flickered a lot.

The game starts off a little slow, it should either start off faster or pick up pace faster. Also the lives counter blocks the door up ahead to you have to react more last second because you can't see the shape you need to transform into until after it comes close enough so the lives counter doesn't block it. Other than that, I thought the tutorial was well thought out, the voices are well done, and the soundtrack is incredible! This would also work really well as a mobile game ;)

Was pretty fun/cool, music was nice. The graphics felt good, like just materials/lighting, don't need textures.

Great music, but was too easy. Would have been nice if the doors were shaped the way you needed to shape yourself, rather than just a sign at the top.

I love the UI and the game feels solid, there seems to be a flickering lighting issue and the game seems a little easy but other than that good job!

True but I sadly had no time to learn any 3D software to create such walls.. I actually had that in mind at first.

@EverlessDrop41 thank you :) I actually don't know why unity does that..

Really clean project, the audio and the graphics make it look kind of professional. Loved the tutorial, reminded me of the little Portal 2 cutscenes :)

It is too easy at the beginning and the intro is a little hard to understand for non native English speakers, but the sound and the overall idea are great.

@gq_deltex @Dooskington @EverlessDrop41 @Haighstrom @CKlidify @Gamescalation @w1n5t0n I tweaked the difficulty. The game is now twice as hard! Mhwa haha!

@Citsua Thank you :) The Portal 2 Universe was actually one of the inspirations I had with the tutorial!

Nice little game, though at a certain speed, the door icons started flickering and the sounds played on top of eachother

The idea is pretty good, the soundtrack is pretty good and the voice acting is not half bad, but there are a few major flaws:
One of them, is that the life meter is obscuring the view for the upcoming shape. Wouldn't it be wiser to put that down or to the side, where the space isn't being used at all?
The images started flickering after a while, making it too hard to tell what's happening.
After you speed up enough, you can't tell what to press, since the shape doesn't come out of the ground in time. You have to speed up the the scanners coming out of the ground as well.

Great game, i really like the music and the voice!
But i think life-bar is better on right or left angle.

A bit disappointing. First glance I thought there would be more to this game, but it's really too simple. Fits the theme however and is a good challenge once you get into it!

Very much like the robotic voiceover. Excellent use of it in the tutorial as well. The game was a little too easy at first, and when the speed picked up, the door had not risen high enough to let the shapes pass through. The door should rise faster as well. Also... there was no exit game button. Graphics were minimalistic but worked well for the game.

Good on graphics and sounds. Graphic simplistic but neat. Sounds are well done in terms both of typical audio (music+sfx) and voiceover.

Problems:
1. Not very engaging.
2. Picture flickers a lot.
3. Life toolbar gets in the way of seeing obstacle

Overall: Well done but more something you would play on your way to school than home. Not innovative.

Wow! I loved the design of the menus! And the main graphics too! Simple, flat, and cool! :D

Some graphics issues, but the art direction is clean. The sound is awesome, and the game needs some fine tuning on the level of difficulty :) Great entry

Too easy, but music was catchy.
