Tried this as 2 player, and it was really fun! This is the first multiplayer game I've seen that works really well, this would be a great little party game.

Though I think you have an advantage if you play with a controller as it's a lot easier to control :)

This is a great all rounder, good sound, good graphics, good fun!

I think the game looked really fun! I didn't have anyone to play with but I could see how it would be entertaining, especially with more than 2 people. Good job.

I spent some time trying to understand the game. Then, I came back here to read careful your description, and then, I could play. If you create a quick tutorial explaining how the game works (especially because the game have more than 1 control, to each people playing), you'll offer a much better experience. After this "learning time", I had fun playing and trying to keep in place. The hovercraft mechanics are very fun! :D

Bit awkward playing solo, but I can see this being a lot of fun playing multi.

Not sure how this is related to the theme, but the graphics are pretty nice and the straight bumper cars work as you'd hope them to. If I had a nit pick it is just that, for a jam game with such a relatively simple base gameplay loop I would have hoped for some more depth (powerups, weapons, different arenas, maybe different game modes). that being said, it's always ballsy to do a multiplayer game for ludum.

I only played this solo so the feedback may not be that helpful because I didn't get to experience how it was meant to be played. I thought it controlled really well, it felt good moving around. The artwork and graphics looked great. It seemed like it might be easy to not fall off if playing with two players, it needed powerups or something that would give one player a temporary advantage. I could see this being really fun if it was build on a little more.

The game looks great! And it seems fun! The hovers and music are awesome! Sadly, I don't have anyone to play it with, therefore I will refrain from evaluating it, since I haven't played it as it is intended!

In any case, keep up the hard work! And let me know if you add an AI or or a way that I can play without 4 hands :P

Great work! The only improvements I can think of is maybe a more visceral reaction when the cars collide/boost. The controls feel very realistic (as far as hovercars go) and the artwork and music are very well done. The neon color theme makes everything fit together really well. I didn't have a friend to play it with, so unfortunately I couldn't experience it to the fullest, but this is still overall very well done!

Really enjoyed the controls for this, I felt it handled really well with a controller. Not so great with a keyboard though. Going to set this aside to play with a full group of friends for sure, I can see people having a blast with a full roster. It's a big undertaking to develop a multiplayer game for a jam but I think you guys succeeded and have a fun concept here for sure. Good work guys.

A fun take on the class 'bumper cars' mini game. The graphics are quite nice as is the music. The hover cars control well and have a nice amount of inertia to them to keep it interesting. It may have been fun to add some powerups or abilities to spice things up a bit though. Still, a nice entry.

Played with another person and we had a blast, was lots of fun to shoot eachother off the platform!

A cute small game with light but accessible gameplay and a fun overall tone.

|+ The visual style and hexagon surface/dangers builds a nice atmosphere.

|- It's difficult to easily see your vehicle's direction, combined with the slippery movement it becomes hard to control/make adjustments.

Personally I would have liked a bit less speed with the boost button lasting shorter with a bit more grip to slow you down at the end, but it does build a light 'mario-party-minigame' esque atmosphere and it really works well for that environment. It also feels really well polished with the beginning interface and fun emoticons/being able to change colors that helps get you in that quick-silly fun game mood.
Great work and fun for the kind of lighthearted pace it looks to be targeting :)!

I looks really flashy, the graphics looks great. Your addition of the falling plates and how it shows you it's about to fall really helps the gameplay. the car models are really cool too.

I imagine this game could be expanded on by adding pickups, but frankly it's simplicity is alluring.
