Your species has finally reached the point where they are able to colonize other planets. Where else to start but with the other planets in your small solar system!

Full.png

Oh yea! I love the interface and the simplicity that comes with it. Terraform, colonize and harvest - just what I like :)

Yes! I did it!

Nice work, the old school graphics are great. The in game tutorial is fun though I had a bit of trouble deciphering it when I first looked at it. Maybe if it was animated it would have been a bit clearer for me

Great work :)

A bit plain, but I guess that's how space games tend to be in LD. I wish this was thematically something else, anything but space because it kinda defeats the purpose of the "small world" theme.

I loved the art style and atmosphere, and the gameplay was engaging. The mechanics were pretty interesting, and I beat it on difficulty 5.

Thanks for the kind words everyone! @sean-m I loved the idea of animating that screen so much it's already a part of the post-jam version!!

Nice game! Solid gameplay, although it gets a bit repetitive. I liked the music stuff you did at the beginning and I would have loved to have more of that in the actual game besides the ambient noise.

The first time I played, I had an error when my ship arrived at the planet I was currently inspecting. Didn't happen the second time...

At first had problems understanding what to do. After I got it, it wasn't that hard to conquer every planet, but I still don't know why I should terraform a planet. (And you could have said, that the sun destroys the ships...). Anyway, the graphics were very good looking and you had a nice concept.

@mde I was hoping no one would find that error. Thankfully in the post-jam version it's fixed.

Cute art style! I also like the simplicity in the controls - the mechanics add some depth too!

I really like the concept, but I was super confused for a while about how to do anything and what certain actions did. Also, the text in the beginning were a bit too pixilated in full screen mode, was hard to read and follow. But once I started figuring stuff out it was fun! Like I said, I love the idea and I'm a total sucker for these kinds of games. Nice work!

I really love the aesthetic. The menus, art, and sound were really well done. Once in the game it took me awhile to figure out what to do. Once I figured it out I didn't have further issues.

Well done!

- Graphics and sound are the best part of this game .
-It is very difficult to figure out what actually the gameplay is but hen once you figure out is is fun playing

I wasn't able to stream this today due to the Fullscreen hijacking the monitor feed from OBS, and I didn't have time to spend troubleshooting. It would be helpful if you could add a Windowed option for folks.

I gave it a couple attempts and couldn't quite get my species to survive. I think there's some interesting gameplay here, it was just kinda hard to figure out. I think a better explanation of the cost/benefits of each action would help out a lot. I feel like if I had a bit better understanding of the mechanics this could have been a lot of fun.

Thanks for the kind words everyone!!

@occultone I watched my games inability to stream. Working on a fix, thanks for the attempt!

@atmospherium It's funny you bring that up as the post-jam version has better cost explanations as well as an updated tutorial page that is FAR easier to read.

Fun idea. It took me awhile to figure out what the harvest action did, and why did you make the sun eat my ships :P
