Greetings mister! I love the graphics (snail, bushes, parallax, everything), the slimey sound, the music and even the movement is fine! Good job there! I scored 5 with the first try!

Nice entry ! Nice graphics and good mood to it ! I had some hard time when jumping from a vertical wall to another and having my left and right reversed ! But still, it was a good experience. Well done ;)

@lugdumdare-team Thanks for feedback!

Reverse works that way because snail will have direct path over circle in this case :)

Great graphics, good sound, and nice game mechanics.

Pretty cool.
It looks and sounds amazing.
Sadly, wall jumping was really difficult for me, so I never got past that spiked wall jumping section without dying many times, which means I wasn't able to finish it.

But overall pretty solid entry. Well done.

First off, super cool to see some custom engine games! How was the general experience?

The core mechanic is super interesting. Obviously there are games like VVVVVV, but being able to rotate gravity in all four directions makes for some interesting platforming puzzles, especially since you have to keep in mind which way is which. Super cool music and sound effects as well!

@jjjjason Thank you for your feedback!

About general experience with own engine: I did not invest enough time to test all new features implemented for this jam, so it was bug fixing on the run along with changing concept. As consequence it was not much time for final polish.
We got our experience and very happy that this situation was not on production stage of big project :)

Overall we are happy with results.

Cool game with nice music and graphics but the controls... When you are climbing up a wall when you are on the left side of it it was right and on an opposite the controls felt inverted. it made sense if you were first on the ground but when on some places you had to jump from wall to wall it just felt bad. The same for when you were going upside down the controls were inverted. So I would recommend having up and down for going up and down no matter what side of a wall you are and left and right no matter if you are upside down or not.

Other than that the game was nice and all.

@svarttand thank you for your feedback!

Agree about controls, unfortunately it was not enough time for polishing.
I beat this game on 4th try today and I know how ghost AI works, design of level etc. :)

Good atmosphere! I needed some getting used to for the controls. It's a bit confusing but I liked the game mechanics. A lot of times the slug re-spawned close to where it died but sometimes to the start of the level, which was overkill since I was far into it. Overall, good job guys!

@angriestscv Can you try to run it under Wine? Should work AFAIK.

As a custom engine user myself, I'm always a fan of other custom engine games :)
The game is nice, the graphics, the sounds and the general physics felt coherent
But I agree, that the reversed controls were a little counter-intuitive, especially when a ghost was close and I didn't have time to think about it

Reasonably good game. I like the audio, it suits the environment very well. And the Art was nicely done.

The mechanic that had you jump from one surface to another, or start going up/down walls was a bit slugish (lol). Feel like if that had been more polished (which is not easy and I appreciate that) then this woul have been a very playable game.

Overall, it's a nice entry and worth trying out! :) well done.

Hey from Kiev friends!) Nice entry, reminds me of Ori(with enviroment), Spelunky(with chasing ghosts) and Snail Bob (with the snail haha) =)
Keep up the good work!)

It looks like fun but unfortunally I cannot played because the game seems really unoptimized for my poor laptop =(

Hello from Prague! :) Aesthetics are really great. Game is hard but that is, I guess, intentional. :) Good job!

A pretty neat feat with the snail being able to cling to surfaces! On the other hand, the physics of jumping were a tad wonky, which was evident when I tried to jump over the first spike, and later on, the dreaded wall jump. Still, the sound and graphics were nice, so props on that. Good job~
