This was pretty **fun** to play!

Sadly, I did not get to play with more than 1 opponent; but it was pretty fun nonetheless! Found myself using techniques (tackling my enemy as he goes to take the shoes!) and it was very satisfying to win more than half of the time :)
I kinda wish there were a few more powerups to spice the battle up but it's very nice for something made in 72 hours and I still had lots of fun! :)

To be honest, this is typically the kind of game you could keep working on! The game is very polished and it would be fun to play with friends!

My sole issue would be the lag but I completely understand that it's there.

Wow! This game is great! Well at least I assume it is. I really love the idea of an online multiplayer pushing game, and it fits the theme well too. The graphics are phenomenal and the audio is too. I never got to play with anyone, but I like that you took that risk. The game is also very polished, I'm out of words for something made in three days. Like @kwisarts said, you absolutely NEED to keep working on this. I bet with lot's of work it could go on somewhere like Steam and have it become very popular.

This needs more comments... It's so amazing.

Unfortunately I was stuck at the waiting for players screen for a few minutes before I gave up. The controls feel nice, and I liked the bouncing-off-of-the-edge feature, but that was all I could experience.

Unfortunately stuck waiting for players. It looks and sounds amazing, though.

Played with some people online, it was really fun. Good job!

This was a fun game to play, I had to resort to windows audio mixer to change volume (oh well) playing with a group larger than 7 was a blast!

I loved this! The battles were fun, the graphics were fitting, and the music was great (if a bit drowned out by the sfx). Sometimes the dashing felt a bit unresponsive (probably from a cooldown timer), and if it had been a bit faster, the game may have been even better than it already was. Great job!

Nice little game! It's a simple mechanic but I think there's a surprising degree of strategy to it, as you try to sneak off to the edge to get the boot without getting punted off yourself. It's very impressive to me that you chose to make a multiplayer game for Ludum Dare. Although, unfortunately I didn't get to play with more than one opponent at a time.

Had a lot of fun playing this on stream! It wasn't so bad one-on-one, but it really shined once more people joined up! This is definitely worth putting more work into. I really have no criticisms here, this works exactly as intended. More power-ups and some different levels would be where to go next, but thats pretty obvious. I'd say to be careful not to put in too much extra features though, or it could lose a bit of its charm! Also obvious addition would be bots, not only so you can play until real humans show up, but also to possibly add a bit more chaos to multiplayer games too. Could even play around with some extra game modes too, like Co-Op king of the ring where human players team up to kick off hordes of bots!

Hoo boy, this game is fun! Cute pixel art (is that the pico8 palette I see? :eye:). If there's any feedback I could add it is the controls felt a bit sluggish, especially for an online multiplayer game that require precision inputs. The ability to chat with other players would also have been a lovely addition.

Wow, just wow. It an amazing game. Everything is awesome, the music, art and the game play, it's all good. Just can't believe this was created in three days! Anyway, all the feedback i got is just to add more to the game, more maps, more power ups, more particles, team score or even a server lobby system. Except this really isn't that necessary with the current game state. Only if you have enough free time, consider making this a fully fledged game. Congratulations and Good Luck :) !

As the previous comments say. This game is awesome. I love the music, graphics and gameplay. The only problem I have is the controls, they were a bit jerky. But it seems like you did the best you could on them. Actually, even though I had a problem with them, they didn't hinder the gameplay that much.

It's a risky play, with an online game like this. But thankfully I got someone to play with and it seems like you're getting a few players in even though it's online. Great job guys! You'll be on some leaderboard i bet!

Also, thank you for the feedback, @goodbyesquare, that you left on [Infecteria](https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/38/infecteria) ! We'll take it into consideration when developing it further.

Didnt have someone around to play with but i downloaded it anyway to see how it played and it seems like a pretty cool vs game. I'll probably end up keeping it on my hard-drive for a later occasion.

Just add a bunch of levels and power-up and you've got a solid game here.

After closing the application once I seem to be stuck at a black screen after seeing "joining game", even if I extract and run the game at another location.

I did get to run around the world a bit the first time I played it. The music, graphics, and presentation are fantastic. This is a great entry. I wonder if there's any possibility of local multiplayer?

Pretty polished, and really good job with the networking! It looks like I joined a game with an idle player (I suspect perhaps people are sleeping and just have someone in there so the game starts). The pixel art is nice too. I will try and come back to this!

edit: Someone was on this time! Pretty good moments of trying to read the opponent and timing the dash attack. There does seem to be a bit of lag with the input, but you can sort of compensate that for trying to space out or read your opponent. I think favorite moments is pushing an opponent off right after they dash and miss you, or pushing an opponent off when they try to collect a powerup.

@parkdraws The server temporarily went down, if you get a black screen after joining the server has gone offline, it's happened once or twice so far but it's very rare :(

I only sadly played against one other player but it so oozes with charm and the graphics are so well done. I really enjoyed this game, it's one of my favourites so far! <3
