Pretty flat-art graphics and very calm gameplay. It's a relaxing game, specially with the music. I managed to finish it and people grew happy and prosperous hahhah

Great job!

Nice and simple game.

The soundtrack could hold the player's attention a little more.

Mechanics are very good. I like the storm clouds in particular. I liked the message for electricity game over a lot :P

Loved the smart thinking into this mechanic, good job! ;D

It's a really sweet concept, so simple at it's core but the mechanics explain themselves really elegantly, and it's been executed beautifully. I could imagine it being fleshed out into a really complex simulation even with just that one cool idea of changing the area that gets sunlight. The music and art work perfectly with it too, and I loved the out of energy death message

Great premise! Simple and intuitive. Not many sound effects but the background music was fitting and well composed. Nice clean graphics and UI.

Very nice music and atmosphere, very relaxed in the face of meteor and resource death. I could listen to that music all day long. Top marks all round.

An interesting and simple take on a god game. Pretty stressful to manage all 4 resources while making sure to defend against the asteroids.

What I liked:
* Graphics are really nice. They did a great job of helping me jump right into the game and understand what to do.
* Music was upbeat and cheerful, and suited the game well.
* Controls were very simple and easy to learn.
* The mood of this game felt great. I'm surprised to see you opted not to receive ratings on it.

What I didn't like:
* Gameplay loop was a little too stressful and mixed to be fun. I always felt like I was in a loosing battle with one or multiple resources until I hit max food. Then, the population grew too fast and I just won. Also, just roating the planet wasn't too fun.
* Random meteor placement made the game trivial at times or extremely hard at others with no way to affect it.
* Metor hitting water or farms = instant death. Meteor hitting city = survive unless under 1/2 population. Interesting mechanic that seemed random and inconsistent with the rest of the game. Also made my experience feel needlessly fragile and that increased the stress level.

Nice job on your entry, and good luck!

Short and quite nice game. The concept is really nice and I understood the mechanics within a minute without needing the tutorial or how-to.

Death screens are nice, so is victory screen. Fits theme very well.

Few points I have:

- as the concept is simple, it is somewhat very easy and fast to finish the game, yeah I'm complaining for it being too short (not really taken into account while voting - as this is a compo/jam game, not retail with tons of time to finish)

- while I personally liked controls, I just wanted to take some gyroscopic controller and use that instead ... in my opinion such controls would be more suited, although decreasing people who would try it indeed

- too much text in the menu, I got too confused about the buttons and text everywhere... I know menu is the last item everyone implements on Ludum Dare, but you deserve credits screen ;)

In the summary, it is polished and I enjoyed playing it.

Very well polished and interesting concept!

I don't know if it was intentional, but if I keep the montains sunny, the resources won't go down. You can keep it like that forever, as long as no meteor comes. Also, it would be good to tell the player the population would go up when the food is maxed out - I didn't know that at first, so I was just managing the planet, trying to keep everything stable.

I love the art of this game, very nice graphics and animations. The music is very nice as well. In the beginning was not that easy to understand what to do, specially because I thought that if the sunlight hit the water something bad would happen. You should thik about releasing it for mobile devices, nice game!

I Played this on Livestream a bit ago: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MwY1-PtcDqs

This was very solid, the best of this genre of games I've seen in the Jam so far. I don't think I had any real criticism and enjoyed myself with it.

Awesome game, it was fun to play and the gemeplay was straight forward. Music and graphics were really good aswell. It was quite easy so perhaps with time the difficulty could escalate to challenge the player. Good job!

Game feels nice and polished, though it feels short even for a game jam. Fairly easy game once you understand the rules of the game. Music and graphics were nice and really contributed to a relaxed atmosphere for the game.

Nice little game and really skillfully executed. My only complaint is the icons that indicate the different functions on planet, took me couple of tries before I realized what they meant. As suggestion maybe add some more animations, currently it doesn’t feel like there is life on the planet. Something like little people going around and tiny cows grazing the meadows. Overall great job!

The game was simple and intuitive, and I enjoyed the laid back atmosphere. One suggestion I have is to add something to do between meteor strikes so you spend a little less time watching your bars fill.
