Blood Count by myrrhorman
My first game! title.png You work in a Blood Bank. Your son has an extremely specific blood type. After a medical emergency, will you do what it takes to save him? It's pretty illegal, is the thing.
Based heavily on the amazing Corgi Engine. If something looks good in the game, it is from the Corgi Engine. I overestimated my ability to draw using a mouse.
WASD moves, E attacks. Space jumps, shift runs. I is for Inventory, and that's good enough for me.
Trading too much blood at once may crash the browser/your computer. I am still working on a fix.
I'm not sure it even can be finished right now, but there is an ending scene in there.
I didn't have time to put the stock exchange minigame in, sadly.!

Some thoughts:
* The first level was playing <20fps. I don't think this game should have been too resource-intensive, so you might want to look into the performance issues.
* The camera movement was an interesting artistic choice, though I think it was a little too buggy and distracting.
* The way the blood fell meant a lot of repeat-platforming. This might not be an issue as long as the platforming stays simple.
* I somehow ran through the wall/floor and that turned into a Game Over, haha :)
