I'm gonna have nightmares about the sounds those sperms made.
But no really, the game is solid and pretty humorous to play.
harker, Line 80: Cannot read property 'position' of null
Apart from that I enjoyed it, the sounds are especially cute. I'm not sure what all the pickups mean, I believe this would've been clarified in the end. It would also be nice to shoot repeatedly just by holding down the mouse button, clicking again and again (with the high delay before actually shooting) felt a little weird.
Good job overall! Let me know if you fix the error, I'm really curious to see the end :)
As for the game itself, I had a bit of trouble realising why I'd died sometimes. Shooting didn't feel particularly responsive either, and like Erkbert, I'm not sure about the red and blue pickups (genetic information, perhaps?).
On the plus side, I keep replaying it every now and then to see if I can reach the end.
Nice job!
I appreciated that you added a lot of info on screen (we didn't!) the cute life counter, the controls, I supposed that the central bar was given me the percentage of the journey, which is nice but not being able to feel the movement, is a bit confusing. I would add more info on the objects we see, You did a great job in adding so many variations, but their meaning wasn't always clear. The restart, exit and highscore made the game really complete and this, with the cuteness of your character is a big plus!
Spitting spermatozoon? for sure? :D
Never seen this before!
Good idea)
For a v1.1 the background should probably move more to convey a sense of speed. And possibly change when moving from one place to another, like when leaving the :point_right: and entering the :ok_hand:.
One little trouble I has playing the game, was that I have an azerty keyboard, thus I had quite a hard time to move around.
As some others said it, it felt repetive quite fast. Maybe you could made the levels shorter, so the players could have the feeling to progress a bit more than it is now.
Because I'm not the main author for our published game and the hope that you would give our game some feedback, here's the link: https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/38/plutiny
You seem to understand games.

- The art gets the point across visually
- Controls are simple and easy to pick up quick but took a second to figure out that where you click is the direction the projectile will travel. A crosshair could solve that even but not necessary
- Something to indicate spacial movement better would be nice though to give the illusion of progression - like some gunk floating by or horizontally moving walls in the background that loop around the scene.
- Biggest issue I ran into was the speed boost appears to do nothing even on the progress bar. Felt you should be able to use that boost to speed past the other enemies as well. In this case to create the illusion of forward movement speed boost you could slow the enemies down when it's used.
Enjoyed playing this for a good laugh and hope to see you in future jams!
It's a solid entry, but I'd like to have a lot more info on how to play the game upfront.
Fun idea for a game! The gameplay is a bit simple but still quite fun. The graphics fit the game well and the sound effects are really weird, but also quite funny, so you get some humor points for that (one of the only games I found that actually has this :)).
It would be great if you could rate [my game](https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/38/the-final-world) as well.

But it still a very good entry here, good job!
