Path Blox by Gunturtle
A Puyo-Puyo inspired take to the puzzle genre, Path Blox is a game about using tiles that fall from the top of the grid to form paths that cross the screen.
CONTROLS: Press Z to start Press Enter to pause Players will use the left and right arrow keys to move blocks across the grid, and the down arrow key to move the blocks down faster
GAMEPLAY:
The goal of Path Blox is to create paths with blocks that fall from the top of the grid.
Paths will start from the left or right side of the screen and loop into themselves.
Paths can also end at an edge of the screen, including the bottom- this can be done for extra points.
At certain intervals, "garbage" tiles will fall from the top of the grid. To get rid of these, paths are made that lead into them.

Got me hooked, congrats on the entry!
In any case, after some trial and error I figured putting right arrows on the left and left arrows on the right essentially just narrowed the playing field and was always a "safe" placement, so I ended up going with that strategy, to some nice success. Pretty simple game, could use a little more like music during gameplay of course, but it's a great start! Very fun.
I did find it a little hard to work out what qualified as a valid loop though. Sometimes a left-right pair would vanish, but an up-down pair would not. Sometimes placing a block pointing at a grey would make the grey vanish, sometimes it wouldn't. On one occasion I made an up-down-left-right loop which didn't dissapear. I don't know if the behavior I was seeing is by design or if the game is a little buggy. In either case, would like to either see the bugs fixed or the behavior better explained.
Still, game's great. Good work.
As a professional game dev I would suggest... just kidding haha
Nonetheless, if you want to work on this project more I suggest making a difficulty incresing algorithm.
Graphics - very nice. Controls are also working very well.
Maybe you could also take a glimpse at my game? I already enlarged it into a wholesome Android game :)
I had a lot of fun, congrats!
The graphics (and animations) are very nice.
The graphics are pretty solid, and the different colors help to differentiate the arrows at a glance. The background gives you something to look at when you're not staring at the game board, while not drawing too much attention to be a distraction while actually playing. The sound effects are alright, but it would have been nice to have some music during the actual gameplay.
