Cute little piece of functionality you got going on there with the world shrinking each time! If you wanted to expand on this post-jam, I think a way to make it feel a little more game-like would be to start small and get bigger each time, with a time limit on how long you can take to touch all the crystals for each round. It'll put the pressure on.

Once the world got pretty small, I was sort of just flailing at the movement buttons, since the crystals were visually on top of each other, and I knocked myself out of the world. Whoops!


Oh well I hope that ending (as the other comment posted) was intentional because it sure was a nice twist to the take on the theme. The controls were a bit rough, but since there were nothing hurting you and all the time in the world, it didn't matter so much. It could perhaps have been made more fun if the controls on purpose were a bit wonky and you had yourself bouncing off the walls trying to get all pieces. And if you wanted gamification to that, just add a count-down clock were you get a little extra bonus time for each little crystal or for each shrinkage. That would of course need to handle the end in some way that would be respectful and fun to the player...

In all I enjoyed playing it.

I updated the game, now it has an ending (not necessarily a satisfying one, but still an ending).

Cool concept. The shrinking levels were an interesting mechanic, and it fit the theme perfectly. Controls were a bit rough sometimes, I noticed that if you start moving diagonally and then release one of the two directional keys it will not change direction to vertical/horizontal.

Even if it was an incomplete entry it showed some potential. Will you keep working on it for a hypothetical post-compo build?

Simple and small yet entertaining game. Too short, perhaps it could be a little longer playing with the developed assets.

Very cute, very cute ending. I tried collecting all the dots after I got to the ending screen, and I'm not sure if the effect I saw was supposed to happen or a happy accident or a not so happy accident. Either way this is a very nice little work!

I thought about it and it's cool. The shrinking playing field by collecting those objects was pretty unique. The wacky movement was kinda interesting since there wasn't a threat - it didn't become frustrating. However it did need something more as others say and you know.
