Opting out of the MUSIC category. - everything else we made for this jam. There are no SFX though so... nil on that one, too.

Nice job! Have you ever played Shank 2 survival mode? I reminds me a lot. :D
@fernandoadolfo Also agreed - just didn't have time to pop SFX in this time around. Could definitely use some squishy slime sound effects. And thanks, I've passed the art compliments onto Noah B!
The punching physics were kind of weird, sometimes enemies got rocketed out, other times they just slide a bit.
Art and sound were good, though I would have liked to hear some SFX in there to make punching a bit more satisfying.
I also felt it was kind of annoying I couldn't punch up (to deal with the ones stuck against walls), and i would have liked to see the world tilt a bit based on which side the load was on (maybe it could fall over if there was too heavy a load on one side specifically?)
Graphics are very cool, too bad music wasn't made by you, it suits the game well.
As others have said, a keyboard attack would work well. Other than that I think just more enemies, abilities and level variety would improve the game. Perhaps some kind of upgrade system to unlock new moves or something. Nice work :)
I found it pretty simple eventually to keep the bad guys of the platforms but eventually I managed to fall to my untimely demise bellow. Oh well, I guess that's one way to go
Perhaps you could add some more enemy types with different behaviors and maybe some powerups player could use to get out of hairy situations.
Keep up the good work!
I played this on stream at https://www.twitch.tv/videos/141022066 - time 1:36:35
The mechanic of knocking things off was quite fun too, I think it just needs a bit more of a sense of impact when you hit the slimes (some sound effect and visual feedback). If you had nailed the feeling of really punching them off it would have been super satisfying.
Agreed that it needs some feedback for hitting slimes as well. Thanks for the feedback, and for playing! :)
