Fun little game you got here. Could use a bit more challenge I think, but I had a good time playing :)

It was pretty fun. Audio and art both were good. I maxed out my army pretty quickly with the white haired ones. Also I figured out gameplay pretty quickly.

Nice and simple fun. Could be a pretty decent time waster on mobile with some more development. You got some potential here.

ty @narra2, that's the plan, we want more feedback so we can achieve a "master time waster" of some sort hue

@budark to make the art I used Macromedia Fireworks 8... it's old, but it works haha

This game was simple, yet fun and effective. I enjoyed the art style and basic gameplay ideas, everything was very clear and uncluttered despite how complex it sometimes got. The core idea of sacrificing lots of troops for higher leveled ones worked well, and it played in with that whole max population of 20 idea, although I would have liked this to be explained earlier. At the beginning I was so confused as to what to do though, I had not idea what I had to click etc. I figured it out but it was polarizing. I also was confused by the pricing system, was it random or based on something else? Similarly I was annoyed that occasionally I could click on one zombie and sacrifice many. Overall however I enjoyed this game, I feel it could be expanded easily and developed into something great! The art and core elements are great, and I think your only downfall here was time, but that's to be expected in a jam. Good luck with anything in the future!

@porcus-pie the pricing of a zombie is based on how much heroes it killed... so a zombie who killed 3 heroes is worth more than a newborn one
Also, the status of zombies and heroes are "random" so the same kind of zombie may have variations of speed, strength and health... the same is worth saying to the heroes
Thanks for the feedback ;)

The realisation is good. It just miss some explanations to how to play. Thank you for your title

I wish there was instructions at first! Apart from that, good game. I included it in my compilation video series of games from the Ludum Dare, if you’d like to take a look :) https://youtu.be/Y2UiyhFvqPg

Cool game. I found a problem that is a bit annoying...if a lot of zombies are near each other and I try to sacrifice one the ones behind him will to if the mouse hovers over them too. Nice entry

Nice game, liked the idea of being the zombie against the horde of humans

Really cool concept, the audio really contributed to the satisfaction of killing the heroes alongside the amazing graphics. However, I was not a big fan of having all the zombies stacked on each other during the beginning since you could sacrifice more than one per click while not even knowing which type is being sacrificed. Also, it needs a bit more balancing, but other than that, a solid submission!

cool game, awesome art! its a little bit too simple and a few more things to interact with would be cool but overall a great game :D

I like the concept and the art style is nice but it seems a little too easy? I managed to get to wave 30 without sacrificing or buying any new zombies (other than a couple at the start when I was trying stuff out). It's possible that this changes with later waves though, in which case it could maybe benefit from a steeper difficulty curve.

I actually could not figure out how to play. Neither the arrow keys nor WASD appeared to move my character. I didn't know what on the screen was *my* character and what was the horde. I only ever saw two characters on screen and could move neither. They both seemed to move on their own until eventually a pop-up came on-screen saying I survived 0 waves. Then it takes me to the title screen where I can restart, and upon restarting, it immediately says I survived 0 waves and restarts again.

There are no written instructions or an intro of any sort either in-game or on this entry's post. Without that, I'm afraid I have no idea how to rate this entry.
