The music is also interesting in this weird way, and the combination of the ever increasing UI size and the off-breat music makes this game sort of unnerving.
I feel like this game could be a lot of fun with playtesting and polish, the blocks exploding in a sort of cellular way makes me feel like there could be really interesting enemies and intense fights with these mechanics.
One thing I don't really like is how blocks can spawn _right next to you_ (not green ones), killing you instantly. I had this a lot at the start of the game but after I survived to ~20 points it didn't seem to happen again.
The AI is nice, concept creative, very fun game overall!
I tryied to build a big chunk of blue box in the middle, so you just have to circle it and the purple bad guys will crash on it so no need to aim. can save your focus on dodging the reds and green
The green blocks are a good way to keep the player moving, and deal with it's inertia to not crash into walls and enemies.
