The big links on the bottom are the original 72 hour LD ones, if you want to try the LATEST then download this:

Protect your pyramid from the greedy thieves. Control all the equipment in your Smart Home™ to guide both the attackers and your loyal (and hungry) pet alien. If they reach the throne room on the top, you lose.

The game is made for Oculus Rift CV1 but can be played with mouse and keyboard (for this, download the Windows version).

INSTRUCTIONS
http://imgur.com/Ix8DcuV (same as the 2nd image)
If you kill all the enemies, the next round will start with 2 more of them. The alien's lives are shown above him as numbers, if he dies, the whole game restarts. The interactable rooms' numbers: the yellow shows the active time, the blue shows the inactive (you have to wait that much until you can use again).

CONTROLS
Rift:
Move - headtracker
Interact - A on the controller or SPACE

PC:
Movement - ASDW
Movement speed - Q & E
Zoom - mouse wheel
Interact - LMB

Unfortunately we didn't have a dedicated programmer, so one of our brave artist took it upon himself. Also the wildly appearing T-poses are features.

Béla Szabó - Blueprints, Character art, animation
Ákos Halász - Environment art
Borsika Arday - Character concepts, texturing

We made all of the assets in the project.

If the LudumDare.exe doesn't work, go into LudumDare/Binaries/Win64 and use LudumDare-Win64-Shipping.exe.

!!! We got lots of comments about the issues with the gameplay and that it's pretty unplayable. This was absolutely true, so we put out a few more switchable doors. It is less likely now that you bump into a situation where you can't influence the events at all. We hope that this can be considered as bugfix, but if not please contact us and we will put out the old version. !!!

Beautiful art. Gameplay is a little bit lacking, might want to invest into programmer/designer next time :)

Wow! Really great graphics. Too bad about not having programmer, but the game looks wonderful.

It ooks really pretty but i think the lack of a programmer didn't gave you that last bit to make it perfect :)

Good work tho ;)

Looks good and when I got the mechanics it was a pretty funny game. I Could see this as a starting point for something bigger. Good job. :)

I agree with the previous commenters - the graphics are simply stunning, the game is great to look at. That's about it, though. I really miss sounds, music, and the lack of a programmer in the team is noticeable.

The concept itself is quite original. Also maybe I'm stupid, but I'm not really sure how you kill the enemies. My guess is that I need to lure the thieves into the alien's way one by one in order for him not to get hurt? I mean, I was able to make it to the next level, but the alien only had a single life left (assuming that's what that number means).

Solid game, it just needs some work on everything that is not graphics :)

Note: I haven't played the post-jam version.

This looks really great but huge problem it doesnt explain anything why is it restarting what should i do, what can i do? I see some traps opening some numbers counting down but what does that all mean.

Maybe it should start from a smaller level with less rooms so that players could try notice whats going on at current scale its throws players away.

The game is very beautiful, but even when I read the rules, the game do not make much sense.

Very nice looking game! Fun concept but should really have had some interface and tutorial in the actual game, and music!
