I'm not really sure about how to play your game.

Sorry! You use the arrow keys to move the ball and jump and the goal is to get to the smiley face.

really interesting game. The shrinking and growing seems like an interesting mechanic. I just wish the game was longer so that you could have really explored the shrinking and growing mechanic. You might also want to explain that mechanic in your games description. Overall nicely done!

Well I agree with what agawag said, I also think the mechanics are really interesting but I feel like the game is just a tutorial, it would really have been great to have more levels.

Thank you so much for playing! I had a hard time with the platforms but you all are motivating me :)

Interesting platform you chose there.

The mechanics are really fun and innovative, the only problem is that it took me a while to figure out how to jump, and I thought that there were not as many levels as there could have been.

Took me a min to realise what to do, but when i did it was a nice concept. A few more levels would make a nice little web game, to waste time on

Okay this is interesting, I like your take on running out of space. Graphics were simple, no audio (That's okay, you were using Khan Academy so I get it.). I figured out the goal of the game after playing it, which would've been much faster if you had added a How to Play Screen or tutorial or something. I really wish this game were longer, because I think it would be pretty fun if it were. Good job!

Neat prototype with an interesting mechanic. As others have said; would love to see more levels, but well done regardless.

Thank you all, I almost didn't submit anything because it was so short...

Yes I wish there was an explanation of how to play somewhere in the description. The game was neat though.

I'm going to add some tutorials to it. Thank you all for the feedback!

Wow, this was unexpectedly clever! When it first opened, I heavily questioned how good the game was going to be, but this is by far one of my favorite game mechanics I've seen so far! It fits the theme perfectly, and the idea is sublime. I was shook. 5 stars all around.

Thank you so much! I am really surprised to be getting this much feedback. If I add more onto this I will be disqualified but I probably will do it since it’s too short...

Was fun, good concept. Kind of has a Katamari Damacy mechanic to it.
Would really like to see expanded to include further levels/areas.

Fun idea but there was no challenge whatsoever to this game making it not so fun. Maybe you should try and incorporate some puzzle aspect using this mechanic. Maybe having to end up roughly the same size as the smiley or something. Also getting too big doesn't seem to kill you. Didn't know you could program using khanacademy, nice!

I would say its an innovative concept for me. You can take this functionality further in so many ways.

Fun and really clever, but it seems difficult to me to create a lot of different levels. One day you may rework the concept by adding a bit of execution difficulty (with a rolling effect on the balls that don't stop where you stop pressing the key for instance). Also I may be overstepping because of the khan academy stuff, but if you're new at this, keep trying: you seem to be good at it :)

@zoltancoccyx Thank you I will need to expand on this to include platforms and a scrolling world space

The idea is nice, but the game was too short! I think you should expand it.

@kalcoslinder The new levels are fun to play too :)
If you ever decide to add more please tag me again.
I think it would also be great to have a key to restart the level.

@xwilarg There is now a hard version of the game, that needs some work in terms of level design.. let me know what you think :) https://www.khanacademy.org/computer-programming/growth-rates-plus/5678263268311040

@kalcoslinder It's great to see a new element of gameplay.
The level 7 look a lot like the level 6 so it wasn't really a challenge for me.
Overall I think it's still a bit easy for a hard version :p.

Interesting game! I never saw one like it with that concept. It was fun but very short, and it may not fit the theme, but if there were many more levels, better visuals and more ways to play around the game's mechanic, it'd probably be an amazing puzzle game~
Definitely a 5/5 innovation and 4/5 fun for this one, despite how short and easy it is.
