Ratatosk by TheFlyingKeyboard
Note that the game was made in 28 hours at local Ludum Dare Edition and contains a lot of bugs!!! Also it was designed to be a mobile game, but we had trouble with SDK(it crashed like crazy) :(. Have fun discovering them all ;)
You are the squirrel Ratatosk. You need to deliver the message to the Nidhogg. Use magic cards to avoid obstacles and eliminate enemies.
Types of cards to use:
Jump Card
Use this card to jump over platforms, spikes and enemies!
Evade Card
Use this card to roll over enemies and spikes!
Attack Card
Use this card to attack enemies (and because you're so angry yourself).
Ranged Attack Card
Use this card to throw destructive acorn at enemies!
* Be careful, because each card lasts only for 20 seconds. After that it disappears, but gives you additional 50 points.
After each 10 seconds Ratatosk gets one random extra card.
Each 50 points can be turn into a card using this button:

Sadly no instructions in-game or on the description pages.
Also, the top & bottom of the screen are cut off on the non-fullscreen web view.
Although, since Jumps are so high you can't predict where you'll land, plus the fact that there is no indication of where you'll die, it's pretty difficult to play, and can feel even hazardous at some time.
I don't really think the disappearing card mechanic adds anything to the game, I would even say it is confusing the player more than anything.
I think i already heard this music somewhere, if it is the case, it would be nice to mention the artist. If it's not, sorry and good music :)
Graphics are nice.
The movement is slow for characters so big, also, as it is a game of anticipation, getting more visible space could help build some interesting strategic value to the game, choosing you actions depending on the cards you have left.
The mechanic of losing cards doesn't work that well. Ranged attacks are not very different to melee attacks. You can jump in mid air whenever you want! You could make use of that vertically in cool ways.
Keep coding!
okay, so I needed like 2-3 minutes to fully understand what's going on.
The movement is kinda slow.
Anyway, after playing a few more times I enjoyed it ;)
