The Game

When you realize the limits of your world, it is only natural to wish to go beyond them.

You are a figurine in a tiny town in a small snowglobe. There has to be a way for you to escape...

Control your character with WASD. Interact with E. Press I to open your inventory and craft. Find objects that can help you escape the snowglobe.

Very cute game, looks great! But the camera and controls were VERY confusing, often times making up move down and left move right.

You might also want to upload some screenshots and a cover image, would make people a lot more likely to try the game :)

How did you test this game? The move speed of the character is so excruciatingly slow that I gave up after about 5 minutes and accomplished literally nothing but walking. Sorry.

The controls work well, the art is great. I couldn't decipher what the goal of the game was.

Regrettably, the controls made this virtually unplayable, and with the camera jumping all over the place I had to give up shortly afterwards.
It's a very pretty looking game and looks like a solid entry. Shame something so core is holding it back so much.

The game was unplayable with the current controls and camera movement was very distracted. It would be nice if the controls and camera were realtive to the character and not the world. The models were very well done though.

The game is very immersive and the connection to the theme seems solid. :)

I could not, however, find the log and the second wire, thus not completing the second craft. Are they in the game?

I did, however, find three bugs. The first one is where the first wire is: if you walk there, the camera changes to some crazy angle and I can't see anything. The second is when you walk close to the houses: the shadow appears on the roof. At last, the third one is that you can walk up any wall up to 90 degrees: you can go up the montains and even the glass surrounding the globe.

I should mention the same others have already mentioned: the controls are quite a pain, and the character moves very slowly. Maybe you could try improving those aspects next time. :D

Good job!

Definitely an impressive game from a graphical perspective, though it suffers from the Grim Fandango control scheme problems unfortunately. Some of the camera angles were really weird and the game probably could have benefitted from some more time to iterate on world design. There's something fun here at its core and I hope you do something more with the idea.

Err... What do i do, again?
The graphics are, as everyone said, quite nice, but i couldn't find anything else to do beside walking, which feels excurciating as it isn't clear which way is which. The confusing camera system is not helping either

Nice graphics, but the controls are very non intuitive, so gameplay is not very good.

Like some others, the controls and the camera discouraged me from playing.
The map and the world design are great tho

Quite pretty, but god, the cameras and the character movement... Didn't find the second cable and the log, and eventually gave up. I couldn't even enter almost any house due to the damn controls! ^^u Good job anyways, keep going at it!

The game looks fantastic! However, the fixed camera angles combined with somewhat confusing controls spoil the satisfaction from the game.

At first this looked pretty promising, but character movement (for me at least, some of the other commenters seem to have been able to do do things) is so very slow, that I gave up rather quickly. I did not want to spend minutes just walking to the nearest house. The WASD controls seem trotated 90 degrees. W moves me to the right, etc. Just before giving up the camera suddenly switched to an angle where my character was barely on screen.

The art is quite cute, which was a big initial draw. But I could not overcome the movement speed.
