THE GAME
You are Fydo, a simple farmer who's discovered the secret to growing more than just vegetables. Through planting materials and fertilising the soil with his own blood... he is able to bring to life non-organic objects - like Microwaves, Toasters, Clown horns and much more! And these non-organic objects are worth top dollar!

However, this goes against the Farmers Fair Trade Act of 1963: "One must only grow organic matter". As a result, the vegetables are mad. Their real mad, and will come and attempt to destroy your farm on a daily basis.

Plant combinations of wood, metal, plastic and blood to grow over 10 different plants. Once fully grown, you can harvest these items to help protect your farm! Each object has a special ability. Throw televisions, mow down some carrots with a desk fan, stun the tomatoes with the flash of a camera! Your farm is worth defending - but save some of your grown loot... a farmers gotta earn!

I didn't expected this when i started to play. This is a nice twist on the 'farming games' genre, flavoured with a lot of humour and great voices.
The cartoon style i adore also.
Of course there are some small glitches (veggies getting stuck behind obstacles sometimes), but that's to be expected in a jam game.
Overall this game gets high praise from me because of the love that the developers clearly put in it.
The game feels, looks and plays really smooth. Great job guys!
The combat didn't feel satisfying at first; I wasn't sure if I was damaging the enemies. Maybe some blinking effects on hit might help.
This was until I grew my first almight weapon: the desk. Charging and dashing through all the vegetables was really fun. The desk was one of many crazy & fun weapons which I all enjoyed.
Next to charging and lasering I also really enjoyed the art and the fact that it is a 3d game. Great job guys! Yihaaaaaaa!
Really innovative take on the theme, I love it!
I think everything worked really well together, the SFX and Music were highlights for me though.
I can see a lot of work, sweat and ~~veggies~~ blood went into this, and it shows!
I have seen that the post-jam version, so won't comment on things that have been resolved.
- Movement feels a bit clunky, it's not horrible I just think it could be a tad tighter.
- Combat still feels a little bit wonky, and there doesn't seem to be any weight when attacking the filthy veggies (Maybe have some detritus flying off when you hit?).
- A prompt to sleep for the night, walking into the tent was OK but I feel like it could be improved
It wasn't a chore to play the game at all, just things I think would make it pop more than it does.
Great job! Thanks for playing my game on stream and the feedback provided!
