Jelly Germ by Ethereal Psyche Games

Hello world!
This time we've made a game for bad guys. You control a super cute germ covered by colorful jelly (yes, we're sure it's for bad guys, don't be distracted by cuteness ).

It's a super resistent germ which has to survive inside a human body. Of course it would try to kill you (you're an evil germ, don't forget it), but you have 4 colorful and powerful skills:
- Green: Throw a sticky jelly to the walls around you. Then, press left or right arrow to stick yourself to the wall.
- Blue: Throw a projectile to kill enemies.
- Purple: Make a quick dash forward.
- Yellow: Throw yellow jelly on the ground to jump higher.

You would have to fight some body soldiers too. Don't forget you're inside a human body and he doesn't like you. You would be able to fight the cute colorful lymphocytes attacking them but if you're wise, you will learn to disguise yourself to pass unnoticed without wasting jelly. You can avoid your enemies if you have the same color as them!
Remember: Jelly is Life. If you waste all your jelly... GAME OVER

Music worked and set the mood nicely, but I do wish there were more other sounds to fill out the atmosphere.
A couple of things though:
* Is the yellow jelly supposed to shoot jelly on the wall? Doesn't help my jumping when it's on the wall, so I got stuck on the fourth level because I could not reach the high platform.
* Sometimes my jelly would stop dead on the floor, and I'd have to jiggle myself free with the arrow keys. Some hitboxes for the floor may be slightly raised?
Overall, though, I did enjoy the experience, and it was a great little Jam game.
The music was pretty good as well as the graphics.
Being able to place the special goo most places in the world was nice. It felt like some really nifty puzzles could be created that would be decently challenging.
Level design also can be better - you've got an ability to create a really good puzzle! But still there are too much free space on the level.
But still I enjoyed the game. This game is much better then many of others in here and doesn't look like it was made in 3 days, it was fun to play it. Thanks!
Thanks!
In it's current state, it's playable and fun but it needs a bit of tightening up. The jumps were a little too 'floaty' for me and some of the abilities (mostly sticky) were hard to use right without failing a bunch of times.
Past that, the only real problem I had with the game is I think the UI is a bit too big and invasive. I was worried going in that I wouldn't know what buttons did what, but I had the opposite problem =)
As far as art and sound - everything was spot on. The germs looked cute and the jelly effect of the animation was fitting.
Overall a really solid entry that just needs a bit of tweaking!
Nice menu opening, consistent art and music.
I did a playthrough: https://youtu.be/vgg5i8zx30w and found couple of bugs (auto-climbing / secret wall at last level). It was fun to play, but game requires some polishing. Thank you.
Thanks for the video/playthrough/bug report (xD)!
Good job!
