Color Go is a turn based strategy game!

Click rules on the top left to see the rules! wasd to scroll the window (mouse side scroll is also there, but its kinda buggy in chrome...) Try to occupy more lands before evil grey takes over this tiny world!

I have actually came up with many ideas about resource management, tech trees and etc, but due to the time limit i can only fulfill some. But I really love this idea and probably will continue develop it after the compo!

Any advice will be super welcome!

Woo! I won! At the end it said I filled 300 out of 900 cells which didn't really seem correct. Also, the tech level number disappears after it goes over 999, I think that's a bug :-)
At some point this became a clicker game which isn't a bad thing, hehe

I like that you did something different here. There doesn't seem to be much challenge to it, but I think if you tweaked a few things you could have a very novel game here. I would introduce more resource scarcity, perhaps you need to surround existing generators (ala Go) on the game board to get new resources, and perhaps those generators get depleted over time so you have to keep expanding. I liked the tech tree too, but, again, I think those things should be on the board and perhaps only give a one-time bonus. Yeah, you should definitely play around with the mechanics because there's something to it

i must say, your game really is complex.
maybe a tutorial would really help it.
i never played Go myself, and always wanted to give it a try,
this was a somewhat cool experience. very basic game, and very neat.
good job at it.
sure, it is not as challenging but it is different and nice. great work.
