Barter by kpded
Barter is about importance of connections in our small world. While Player’s aim is to gather coins, he helps his friends and society overall. The game developed with haxeflixel and art stuff created in Inkscape. Hope you enjoy this little game!
Unfortunately due to my failure to keep with the deadlines there is no sound in the game

This is an interesting and compelling idea! But I never got past about 2 trades because the "I have 2 ____ trade/bye" window wouldn't go away and I couldn't see much of the screen. This is the kind of thing you could fix within the rules of the compo. If you do, please comment on my user page and I'll check back!

A really interesting and unique game concept. It's a shame that you didn't have the time to add sounds, it would have benefited the game a lot. I feel that the movement is a bit too slow, plus you can only move in 1 direction. I also encountered a bug where the dialogue box would not close after my friend said "Unfortunately you can't help me". With a bit more polish, this game could be really great!

Interesting concept, I was starting to get into it, but sadly kept encountering the bug people have previously mentioned where the 'Bye' button stops working. I believe it may have to do with a tutorial message triggering at the same time as talking to someone, but I'm not 100% on that one. Kudos for attempting a tutorial in a jam though rather than just typed out instructions, it's a nice touch that often gets missed (I know I always skip it with the time limit!)

I liked the idea! Getting friends of friends to trust you seems like a good and sort of realistic way for things to work. And the thought of flocks of men without shirts or pants, milling about wanting to trade stuff, is funny. I got that bug with the remaining window too (in the web version), but I managed to play for a little while at least.

Interesting idea ! I liked it even if I felt it lacks a little bit of polishing to be efficient, like for instance I was not confortable with the window in the center of the screen. But overall good job with your game !

Interesting idea. Really hard for me to figure out the controls and I got spammed by the same message over and over so I kind of got stuck there.
