A space strategy game set in many small planets

After the invention of the SuperSpeed FTL travel drive most big enterprises deciced to invest on it. You are no exception. A group of pioneers are sent to the system "Kepler 52B" with hopes of bringing wealth to your corporation. Will you suceed or will you be defeated by the other groups?

There is an ingame guide which should introduce you to the game. If you are confused feel free to ask in the comments

If you suddenly get annihilated, it means you had too little soldiers. Make sure you always have a decent ammount!

Known Issues:

  • AI is wonky (slow sometimes, very fast other times)
  • Attacks sometimes are fairly buggy (Ran out of time...)
  • #### Random crashes can happen (And seem not to happen when "Peaceful" mode is on)

I plan on making updates to this post-jam! (If there is any super-huge, trivial bug I will fix it in the jam version, so please report any game-breaking problems you encounter!)

You can resize the window! You can also set the game to fullscreen on the settings menu (once you are ingame)

Really like the UI, lots of info provided that is easy to read and moveable. ImGui is a great choice to have!

Simple game, but very fun. My only problem was with building the houses (Didn't know when i could and could not). Was it because of money? Anywas, I'm defently going to play this more!

I wanted to like this game but it kept crashing on me so I never managed to get off the first planet which is a shame cos I love these kinds of games. Also every few minutes the sadness on my planet would spike causing a downward spiral of under production which I could never get out of. Nice graphics and UI and calming music though.

Completely random crashes? I had some issues like that while developing (had to do with the AI deciding to attack, and crashing the game), but should not happen anymore. Maybe it still has to do with AI attacks, looking into it.

Really complex game! I included it in my Ludum Dare 38 compilation video series, if you’d like to take a look :)

I really like the economy system and the calming music. It somehow reminds me of Stellaris, which is my favourite game. Good job!

This is a relay complex game for a Jam, very impressive! My first runs were hard because of money, but after some hate with other empires mine flourished. I had no issues besides the learning curve, the tutorial was very nice. There is a nice theme, this is a entertaining game.

From all the games I've played I have put the most time in this one. It's hard to understand at first (did it from the 5th launch), but it's really interesting to play. Sadly, it freezed at the end, but the console said (we won). Don't know who, me, or AI :D. But I was already built a rocket and made some soldiers, so I don't know. Anywaym spent about half an hour on that think and it really hooked me up. It looks and feels good, not like it was made on LD (it feels only in the lack of interactive tutorial and unbalanced system)
5/5 man, liked it really much!

It's a little hard to understand the interface, what do what and so on ... But, apparently, you've got really interesting, beautiful and smart strategy! I have not yet figured out all the subtleties, but it definitely seems deep and complex. At least, compared with other strategies from the Ludum.

You did excellent work!

I hit a bug in the Windows version that deleted all my structures when I was buying soldiers.

I'll have to play this a lot more time as soon as I can, but what I've seen looks amazing for a jam game! I love strategy games, and this one looks interesting. Good job! Keep it up!

Damn son couldn't make any!

A nice and quite complex game. Takes some time to get into, but the UI is much better than many other LD games I think. Audio helps as well.

Really nice game - I spent quite some time figuring out the game building an empire across a few planets, then issued an attack and the game crashed :) ah well, it was pretty fun to make it to that point. This could be a pretty interesting game if developed further.

I played this on stream at https://www.twitch.tv/videos/141469699 - time 3:14:20

Thanks for feedback! I debugged a bit when attacking and managed to reproduce the crash. Will rewrite attacks completely as they make little sense (for post-jam!)

By the way, I forgot to say that in the settings cog menu you can set the game to fullscreen, the default window is a bit too small for the UI
