Very nicely executed not sure how it fits into the theme of running out of space but was very fun overall.

Was great until the dialogue ended.. From then on I wasn't able to do anything. I tried using the arrow keys, pressing other buttons randomly, and clicking on files. Don't know if it glitched or if I'm missing something. Fantastic job with the setup and fun humor!

I love the humour and the amount of character in the game! Everything in the game is very uniform from not just visuals but also sound and i enjoy some of the references that pop up haha. As @roy-berardo said, the setup is very good!

Unfortunately I'll have to agree with @roy-berado as well in that I can't say I had fun with the game because I literally didn't know what to do after activating it. I know I'm supposed to do something with this text file that appears but I couldn't think of anything. I know this is a puzzle game and maybe I'm just an idiot but I didn't know what to do with the text file or how to get to the passcode. I clicked on Dr. Helper but he wasn't much help. :( I feel like in this situation, some clearer and/or more hints would help? Or just any sort of direction would really be appreciated.

All in all, I can't give it an overall good rating because I couldn't play much of the game but from what I have played, it was very well made! An interesting take on the theme for sure I think!

Hello @hanin I'm so sorry that you can't solve our first puzzle. We are updated the game, with much bigger tip and will be very happy if you give us a second chance. To solve this problem try to re-verse a text)

@zlou-kote Heyo, thank you! I've figured that you're supposed to reverse the text but I just had a bit of kerfuffle with how it would work on a technical kinda way. I probs should have prefaced that haha!

That being said, I downloaded the new version and I SHOULD HAVE KNOWN YOU SCOUNDRELS

The graphics, UI, and SFX/Audio in this are killer. Great job, and some good jokes (I guess the the Dr's accent is throwing some shade at kaspersky?). I got the first key, but after that I went into some infinite folder hell that I could not seem to get out of.

This was unexpected.
Great game overall, very polished. The meme humor is at the same time very cringy and very funny. And I definitely didn't expect the game to transform into a manic shooter out of the blue.
The end is a bit underwhelming, kind of like the computer version of "it was all a dream" but the experience was worth it nonetheless! Good job!

@hare-software thank you for feedback) to be clear, as it was my first time at ludum dare, everything was very unexpected. On the first day I was terribly exhausted after spending 10 hours of nonstop development. But on the second day I decided to rest a little, so I had to sit until the night finishing the game)

@danielpancake I always just get 8 to 9 hours of sleep, even went to two birthday parties. Time is important, but I know that I won't have any good results if I am half dead. Working in short productive bursts works better for me :)

Boss fight was pretty good, but the length of the game is probably too short. Voice acting for the game was awesome, though!

Found your game through yourbr0ther's stream. Your game intro absolutely killed it. A lot of games (including ours I think) lack the polish of a good solid intro. The computer crashing (good sounds!), rebooting, going through the installs etc. was icing on the cake.

Not enough games do voices in their game! Did you record them yourself and if so how'd you get the effect on them? Either way, nicely done!

Hi there @phearbot I used a fl studio for recording and some plugins. fruity limiter - to remove noise, fruity reverb - for reverb) and vocodex with some robotic-ly effect in C-scale and huge amount of distortion. At start we have an intro (booting screen, but remove it in the finale, cause it was repetative and long

From funny puzzles to an engaging boss fight - I had a blast playing this!
Maybe for the puzzle part it would've been nice if you got some more visual feedback for clicking stuff (by that, I don't mean screenshake).

Great work guys, for the amount of time you had - insanely well done! The sound design was great, VOs funny, but the thing that made the whole experience for me were the visuals and the general stylistic approach - absolutely awesome job!

It is amazing how you guys deal to put so many details in 72h. Good job! I like the game, although I find it hard to understand what is going on or what you have to do. But I'm pretty sure it has more depth that I could find playing it haha. Anyways, congratulations!

Well, this was definitely unique! I mean, I was terrible at it and couldn't finish the boss fight, but I certainly want to try again later.

The feedback I have is that the first password is discoverable in uppercase, but it only works when entered in lowercase. I don't know if this is intentional, but it caught me out. As for the boss fight, I feel like the files are perhaps a bit close together (but as I've said, I'm terrible at it, so that could just be me) and I thought I'd be able to shoot them as well as the boss, at first. I also found the flashing background made it very hard to focus on the items, but I imagine this was very intentional.

Great game, anyway, even if it gave me virus flashbacks! :stuck_out_tongue:

This was a great take on the running out of disk space/virus on computer. I played a few other takes on this idea, but this one definitely stood out with the humor and how each folder was it's own small mini game. The final boss was a surprise and fun to see.

I loved the visuals on this. The slight CRT curvature with the scan lines was great, and the screen corruption when getting hit on the boss was a great add in. No real critiques to give on this one, i really enjoyed it.
