Playing with a keyboard, using 'Up', 'Left', 'Down', 'Right' to move, 'Z' to dodge.

You need to plug in the 4 batteries to comfort the god, when you're moving, the god will chase you and try to attack you; when you're static, you're mostly safe.

...and because of the weird temper of the god, the AI is a little unpredictable sometimes...

Enjoy! :D

Its weird. Recently Ive found myself playing a lot of games that are both terrifying yet cute at the same time. Its a nice concept tho. The life of a tiny creature trying to avoid being smooshed by what they think is a furry god, but is really just a curious if maliciously bored cat.

My main issue was it was often hard to judge when the cat's paws were going to smash down. Some more signals or obvious shaking before that would be nice. I also never did figure out how to plug in the batteries. That said the art was nice, and I really love the notion that you had to interact in a roundabout way with the cat in order to break the environment and get at the little batteries.

Thought this would make a great concept for a simple game where you explore planets made of different pet toys. With each one requiring you to find and fix some other electrical component while dodging animal body parts/limbs.

So nice work. I also included this game in my first showcase video for Ludum Dare 38!

@larrychupacabra Thanks for playing and making this video, your feedback is quite useful, I didn't notice the hint and level design are not clear enough tho, also the the little unpredictable AI lol

Your expanding ideas are also very interesting, thanks!

Love this game, one of my favorite Compo entries.

Very challenging and creative gameplay. I died alot trying to figure out the small puzzle aspects of it.

Great work @husky

Highly rated by me

Very nice work, and it's a comp! I felt when the claw dropped made it quite challenging, and I think if the timing was clearer as to when it would drop, it would be better to know when to dodge. Great idea with making it hit open areas to be able to move on. Great puzzle-yness to it as well!

He he I really liked the idea of being chased by and stomped by a cat. Very good take on the theme. Great job!

Fun little game, the graphics on the world are a little too lowrez, its not clear what you need to do... That being said i like how you have to use the kitty to unlock the objects in the environment. GREAT NAME btw!

I just love the dull 'thump' and stopping of the music when you get squashed. It's a very cute (and slightly frustrating) game.

This game made me smile. I really liked how you elegantly taught the controls on your title screen. I found the game very difficult but instead of being frustrated when I lost over and over I just laughed, because cat paws! The cat itself is quite adorable and you nailed the "small world" theme.

Haha! I thought this was brilliant. I couldn't complete it as I kept getting smooshed but I loved the concept. Also liked how if you didn't move it didn't try and smoosh you. Poor birdies though!

Loved the visuals, and sound - thought it was a well polished game.

Good job!

I was kind of mislead since my initial thought was I'd play with cat. After reaading tutorial it become clear and I had much fun with this game. One complaint - waiting each time for a cat to destroy first block was kind of irritating though.

Awesome game.
You got a good effect that makes feel "I almost completed this, I want one more try" on every fail.
And also you got my heart.

Looks very good, but I don't get what should I press to plug in the battery in the slot, even after watching the video in description...

The music is great. It really goes with the game and gives it a lot of character. This is one of the best game enemies that I have ever seen in an LD. Its not exactly a fair game and its really hard to play. But I really like it.

Love the music. Sound effects might be a bit too loud relative to the music. Would've also liked full screen. Suuuuper hard but fun. :)
