Awesome game! Very intuitive gameplay, strategy aspects are nice and simple, the controls make sense and fighting is fun. I don't know if I am just bad at strategies, but I think the game is really hard. Nice entry!

Cool concept. Took me a bit of time to work out how to play and move around, but afterward yeah, it feels like XCOM as a platformer.

I see what you mean by "don't judge by the screenshot" now. Really fun game despite the programmer art hahah! Great mix of platformer and X-COM, had a lot of fun playing it!

Man, I got smoked. Pretty cool though, I could see this getting expanded into something fun!

Interesting concept, but the mechanics make it beyond infuriating to play. Having to spend an entire turn doing nothing (in other words, jumping to a ledge below), whilst the enemy is in cover and in better positions by default is not great. Whilst the latter definitely sounds like XCOM, the player's inability to flank is very noticeable.

I'm afraid I don't really like this one, largely because of the clunky movement, incredibly restricted firing ranges, and other mechanical stuff like that. With some rebalancing, however, this could make for something quite entertaining.

@Lumos, sorry, there was not enough time to make the mechanics and balance more correct. It's just a quick concept

Screenshot was right, actually quite nice effort. Would love some stamina mechanics so if I walk a bit can do small jump same round.

I feel like there needs to be more strategic options for this to be fun. It looked like it was impossible to win the level.

Nice idea! It is a hard game though, as the enemies just wait to have you walk into their line of fire. Maybe some more options like a jetpack jump diagonally or the two action system of the current xcom would greatly improve the fun here.

Since Xcom is my favorite franchise i had to play this. The controls are very intuitive. it would have been nice to be able to jump down at an angle from one platform to another. it definitely was very challenging, much like xcom itself

Liked it, but I would have preferred if you could move and shoot in the same turn. As is, it's kind of hard to fight very effectively. Also, if the enemy just hides over and over again, it can be hard to kill them, even with 3 soldiers constantly shooting.

Pretty fun though!

I want to try an extended and improved version of this game! Would love for the enemy to not evade or at least not evade all the damn time though... Was a bit boring standing around for 10 turns just triple shooting the same guy :stuck_out_tongue: P.S. 20!!!!!!

Good job on the entry! I honestly found the best tactic was to just sprint through the level and avoid enemies. it would be great to see this expanded with different enemies (weapons) and perhaps some different environments to provide more risk/reward options for the player. Having to really think about cover and movement and the payoffs of both would be great. Keep making games!
