Hey @konh! Thanks for the feedback. We had still an unpublished game that's why we didn't have links yet. But now we do! So feel free to try it

Nice game overall ! The difficulty is quite high at first, but I think it's more my poor skills in such types of games xD
Nice take on the theme !

Thanks! @raivk and @quagga, we sure needed a bit more time to polish the levels.

Ok, this game really impressed me, the programmer did an amazing work with pathfinding there and programming those blob mechanics. The theme is perfectly applied so that's the strong part of my final rate. The only thing that lacks of is the graphics, but overall is really good game. Congratulations to the developers!

Fun idea and amazing visual style. The gameplay idea is simple and fun, but the difficult level is a bit high. This game really needs some sound effects and some music. Overall a fine LD game.

This is awesome! I really like the core mechanic. I found I was able to move across the raised areas, I'm not sure if they were supposed to act as boundries? I did find it fiendishly difficult, but definitely has the 'one more go' factor. Excellent all round.

Cool blob! Trying to work out how you made it deform with the level, really cool! Some of the enemies spawn too quickly, in one instance I started the level pretty much on an enemy. Good fun though

I quite like the game, it was a little hard on the up front, so I think it could use some more tweaking of difficulty but the core of this game seems solid. I quite liked the art style. I think some sound effects and music would have really completed the package but overall good job :)

I like the game, but I would've liked that hitting an enemy only decreases your size, instead of instant death.
I think that would make it feel a bit more "rounded" (pun intended in regards to your blob, which looks nice! ;)

The game is quite challanging, mostly in a fun way but if one of this superfast purple thigs spawns basically directly on top of you, that is not much fun :(
Other than that I really like the way you guys used the theme :)

This was fantastic - I had a blast playing it once I figure out all the controls (I wish the Q/E could be remapped to my left hand). I'm going to have another game now (a rare desire when rating LD games!)

this is a really fun idea for gameplay - i found it a little difficult, but that's cool; it's a really good use of the theme, too!

Yeah the spawning isn't that great, we actually try to spawn at a distance but its too random at times.

Damage wise we actually reduce the blob as you take damage, but again the stats we used are all over the place xD

This was really fun! My very first attempt was terrible, I died super fast, I tried using only melee troops. Once I tried a healer, it was a breeze. I definitely see what you mean by unbalanced, cuz the healers are completely busted. Regardless, I actually had a blast playing this, great job!

Oh that's a neat mechanic! It wasn't obvious I was getting smaller at first so maybe some better telegraphing of that. But yeah, you can choose to have friends but it puts you at a disadvantage, neat implementation of the theme!

Hey everyone! Thanks a lot for all your feedback! We really enjoyed this challenge and are really glad you enjoyed it  It's just a shame we weren't able to polish a bit more, specially the level design! Cheers!

A pretty interesting game with cute graphics, but I wish it was easier at the beginning. You only have so little health at the start, and if you spawn too many attackers you're pretty much done for. It's a neat mechanic to be able to split yourself though, it can lead to interesting twists in the gameplay. There's no audio though, which penalizes a bit your game, but apart from that, it's a devent job what you did her :)

Hey, cool entry!
I like the idea and the blob reminded me of the slime king from terarria, hehe.
graphics were sweet! Idea is cool. enemies are tough. game is too unforgiving at the beginning. :)
If you continue to work on it you should tweak that as others mentioned; make the first stage(s) of a game really "easy" and a place for teaching/learning the mechanics, and after every difficult part a savepoint would be nice, would encourage players to try things :)

Overall, nice job!

What a creative game! Well done! I love playing games with new, never seen before mechanics and your game really nailed it. It took me a while to fully grasp how it works, but in the last level I had so much fun creating my massive blob army!

Well done and thank you for just trying something new!

I like the idea of this game, it's pretty simple and pretty innovative, I feel there's too many enemies at the beginning but that's all.

Very innovative! It's great you have a lot of enemy types too. Such a novel game is probably hard to balance though, I'm looking forward to an update. A problem in the beginning is that spawning seemed unresponsive. Later I figured out that you can only spawn in a free spot, so I learned to move while spawning. It still isn't always clear to me when I can spawn and when I can't. Clearer (audio) feedback would help here.
