You - the chief road Builder in the candy Kingdom! Build roads to unite the city into a single network. The shorter road between the houses - the more profit.

  1. Each turn of the game, road is built up one cell.
  2. Each bridge is worth some money (up to 6 bridges per cell)
  3. Cell types: meadow - 1, forest - 2, mountain - 3, empty - 4 coins for each bridge.
  4. Each city trades with every: the shorter between the road, the higher the profit.
  5. City on the neighboring cells is already connected.
  6. Part of the profits goes to the maintenance of already constructed roads.
  7. How many levels can you go?

I really enjoy the art in this project. Overall it's calm and relaxed. I like it, although the puzzles could be a tiny bit more challenging. I've fixed the link on my page, thank you for pointing out my mistake

I very much enjoyed the look, feel and sound of this game. I found myself wanted to press on further and further to get all those roads done in the most efficient way possible. All my roads are pothole free! :D

8/10!

A very enjoyable game! The art and music mesh nicely into a pleasant experience. I would say the one downside is that it how far you can go feels very arbitrary: if you get a city in the middle of a forest, it's expensive to connect it, no matter what you do.

I played this on Livestream Today: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LGr9VAOjIQs

You have a very awesome, simple, core game here. I really enjoyed myself with it, and I think it would do very well on Mobile.

A really relaxing and beautiful game with not much to criticize :) In the web version, the alpha channel of the sprites was displayed black, but that could have been an issue with my browser. Good job!

Great game. Feels complete and polished. Level difficulty also progresses nicely. The game mechanic is a little counterintuitive, but no less fun once you figure it out (I got to level 20 once I did).

In particular I found the city revenue rule counterintuitive. What I figured out is that each pair of cities that is connected yields a small fraction of a coin. Then, the total revenue is rounded to an integer. Each city you connect adds up to all the already connected cities, so revenue grows nonlinearly. Adjacent cities are already connected (it's helpful to mention this in the manual). The trick to winning is to get a revenue above 1, then watch your reserves grow as you lay cheap roads and stay in the level as long as possible.

Interesting concept and nice graphics, but I didn't really understand the coins calculation, it was not clear enough for me when I was winning money by constructing roads and when I was losing some... I got until 8 levels completed and with this misunderstanding of rules, sometimes even the first level seemed impossible to solve. :open_mouth:

Nice game, I'd love it to somehow show the price for road you are about to build (when hovering over tile for example) and also show income (maybe coins rising from towns). It was a bit to remember those rules. But otherwise solid game, loved playing it :)

Nice job. I really love the music, and the graphics are incredible. I found gameplay a little confusing, so maybe you could clear that up.

I really love the polish, art and sounds. The tile sliding effect at the beginning of the levels is particularly good. I also like the idea of the game, but even after reading the instructions, it's difficult to tell what's causing income and expenses. In most cases, it seemed like I was better off making a road to nowhere anytime I was profitable rather than finishing a level. That seems relatively simple to fix, and other than that I think this is a really promising puzzle game. Great work!

Looks quite nice but I have no idea what I'm supposed to be doing, what are the controls? Sometimes clicking does stuff, sometimes nothing happens. Is there a way to progress to the next turn? What causes the game to end?

After figuring out the controls (not because they were hard, but because I was looking at it wrong lol), I got to like the gameplay. At first it felt a little arbitrary but after re-reading your post here I got a grasp on the mechanics and it stared making sense. I really liked the graphics, in particular. They were really charming!
