I'm really enjoying this game! The sounds are so much fun and the graphics are really cute. The challenge is at a perfect level. There is a level that literally makes me feel out of space.

The moving platform idea is neat. Unfortunately, the levels are a tad too difficult for me. I kept running into the wall on the 3rd or 4th level because the horizontal movement is hyper sensitive.

Can't get the Windows build to run. Says it has trouble with a dll and I should try reinstalling.

I don't have the dependencies to run. Is is possible to build a standalone windows exe?

@matt-tuttle -- Yeah I made it a bit on the hard side. Thanks so much for playing! I thought I should do a accelerate - decelerate thing for horizontal motion but didn't get around to it...

@michael-feldman -- What .dll does it ask for? I'll test the Windows build again shortly.

Ah @michael-feldman and @firebelley -- I figured out the issue. Will upload a build as a .zip file with the needed .dlls soon and mention you again. Thanks for checking this out!

@nikki93 it wants love.dll lua51.dll SDL2.dll for me. I tried installing [LOVE](https://love2d.org/) but itdidn't fix anything.

@nikki93 Works great for me now, thank you! It's fun. It's challenging but not too much so and has pretty unique mechanics.

Minor UI suggestion, play the jump sound when you walk off a ledge, because you can only airjump once (as opposed to a double jump where you walk off, then jump and jump). It took me a little while to figure out why I kept feeling like I was getting cheated out of a jump, and it's because if you walk off a ledge you can only jump (and get the jump sound) once.

Also, the difficulty level scaled up to insanity for for me at level 6 or so:

Every level up to this was nearly trivial, then I still couldn't beat that one after several minutes and about 30 deaths.

Sound is mixed pretty high, so I was startled at first. Great concept! I agree that the horizontal movement is on the sensitive side, which makes some of the levels more frustrating than they should. It was compelling though, in the sense that I did want to execute on some level strategies.

I dig a lot of the ideas that are at play here, but I'm terrible at platformers at the best of times and find this really difficult.

It took a while for it to click in my head about how this fit the theme. Kudos for choosing something that totally works but isn't obvious.

Agreed about the movement sensitivity making some of the levels frustrating, but apart from that this is a very cool and interesting idea for a platformer mechanic!

It was pretty easy up till level 5 (It think the one where you have to cross the long lava) but I got though it. level 6 was harder but I still knew what to do but this seems impossible. ![HOW.png](///raw/34a/1/z/17267.png)

I'm not really sure this relates to the theme much except level 6 and maybe 7. but it was rage inducing so good job on that. Except the above level.

@thepattybeast — Thanks for the feedback! On that one — just remember that moving platforms only trigger when ur touching them ... and jumping will make you stop touching them ... ;O

And yeah you’re right on the theme relationship — I wanted to make more levels that felt suffocating / enclosing but ran out of time.

Thanks so much again for playing!! :)

Thanks for fixing the link! So glad I got to play this tetris looking platformer. The character is very cute for being a pixel. Sounds are nice and fit the overall style. Very nicely done.

Fun game! It's a pretty interesting concept and I like the sounds. The only complaint I have is the the controls seem overly sensitive for the kinds of movements the game expects you to make.

I found it tough! The sound effects were nice. I had trouble with the controls, I think it'd work well on a controller instead of a keyboard.I was bad at it, but I can see the levels were well designed and I like that it isn't explained in terms of tutorial, but through gameplay. I'd like to see a further fleshed out version too.

Your game is very nice to play. The general impact is positive.
As a professional game dev I would suggest... just kidding haha
Nonetheless, if you want to work on this project more I suggest making a difficulty incresing algorithm.
Graphics - very nice. Controls are also working very well.
Maybe you could also take a glimpse at my game? I already enlarged it into a wholesome Android game :)
