I like the mechanics, they are quite fun and fresh. Controls are quick and responsive, graphics nicely clear. I like it a lot, it feels fun to play.
Different enemy behavior would help the game a lot I think, as the only feasible tactic right now is to wait for the enemy to fire in phase with your attack.

@psychead Thanks for the feedback! Maybe been able to deflect bullets for a short period of time could lead to alternative tactics :thinking:

Love the controls, love how a higher fall will kill the turrets instantly. Few-color outline graphics are awesome too. Retro yet unique. It's a simple game but movement is fun enough that it doesn't matter. Wish there was music and more sfx that didn't sound like default BFXR.

Love the vector style. Falling from really high and bouncing on multiple enemies feels great.

The controls feel amazing, the combination of flying and bouncing is really fun. Overall the whole game (graphics, gameplay, sounds) is very simple but cute and enjoyable. I expected an epic music to start though, it felt a bit too silent. A score would also be an important addition to keep players longer on your game. But I had fun, nice job !

Probably jetpack should have some limitations, it's too easy now to avoid all the projectiles. I like the idea of bouncy world, it gives nice sensation, but game is a bit monotonous, I'll agree with previous commentators, enemies variationality would help, maybe some flying enemies?

Pretty fun game, though the difficulty curve might be a little soft... :P
However, the tech behind it looks sweet, well done!

This is really original. It's very different than anything I've played. It's really satisfying to jet pack up really high and kill an enemy. I think it would be a bit more challenging if the jet packhad limited flying time though. Overall very fun!

@jaytord @spaceman Yeah, you are right about limiting the jetpack fuel, I wish I had thought that :grimacing:

Feels new and innovative, the zoom out is really cool but becomes tedious after a while.

The game plays great, looks great. Its an excellent entry. Some other enemies / constraints would have done a lot to extend the gameplay.

Fun to play. Kudos for supporting Linux. Sometimes I get stuck under a tank barrel jumping up and down and not being able to move left/right. First, I thought I'm dead, but then some tanks drive under me and get crushed, so it looks like a stuck situation.

Loved this! Loved the vector graphics too, very retro. Nice tight controls, fresh concept. A+!

It's simple but really fun to play. And a suggestion on a more advanced gameplay from me would be having the ability to boost left and right for a fixed amount of speed by double clicking the arrow button. Good Luck!

I liked it - most of all is when trying to one-shot tanks from high above.

Loved the artwork and gameplay, great work! I think some enemies which shoot randomly (rather than at you) would have spiced things up a little, and maybe a mechanic to earn back shields somehow?

I love the graphics and how jumping feels in this game. I wish attacks were telegraphed though. Seeing when tanks will shoot would've been great.

Jump and jetback feel pretty great. The art all fits together really well. Sound effects siuted over all. The mechanic is genuinely compelling and always challenging. Jumping on something that is trying to shoot at you is really hard, but really rewarding.

The only real constructive thing I can add is that the Lives indicator above the character is not very obvious. I think they could of benefited from being the same white colour as the character and perhaps more heart shaped (cliche, but effective).

All in all, really well done! Very solid, tight, stylish and engaging.
