In 2079 people get their ads uploaded straight into their heads.

Big companies control the market and the chance of a small agency to produce any good advertisement is wee.

A prototype of a device that analyzes ads in people's heads, gathers statistics and helps to produce the ground-breaking message has appeared on the black market.

Small company with big potential, though at the edge of bankruptcy due to the ad-monopoly, obtains this prototype.

A creative mind should wear AD-LIB to get the best results.

On his way to the job, he tries the prototype.

Then things get glitchy.

Yeah! Really simple gameplay, but funny game! I made 47 at the third try :)
Some non ordered comments. I think the game is too hard too quick ; you should try to add little banners in the begin, then bigger and bigger. There is some gap between the speed of the walls and the speed of the objects on the street, making them "slicing".
Keep going guys, I like this type of games!

I really LOVED the way you interpret the theme :) It just fits perfectly.
I like the design of the ads too, I wish I could use Adblock here !

Nice job !

Interesting concept. I wish that it started off easier, like a tutorial. It was hard to understand what you're supposed to do. I like the pixelart and sound design. It was well made. And also all camera effects!

Music nicely fits into the game, it feels like in some dysoptian future.. except it's not a future anymore (unless you are using adblock:)

Awesome concept! I can tell there was probably a lot more to this idea, and had you had more time you would have fleshed it out more, but the atmosphere of the game is great. Nice work :)

Really neat idea. The sounds really help set the mood too. I just wish it was easier to tell how to get rid of some of the ads, I didn't notice how to fast enough XD

Cool game. I like the theme and the detail that went into the ads. Gameplay was actually a bit repetitive but it was fun!

Nice use of theme and overall mood. I did it pretty far and would like to see a more polished version of this in future. And also, sound get annoying very quickly. In general good job.![Screenshot_2.png](///raw/9d1/c/z/e0e5.png)

Thanks for letting me play this on stream. Took a little to get used to, but then I understood. I think the first advert I got was the blue one which didn't have an obvious "close" button, so for me I didn't instantly get what I was meant to do. I liked the idea that were more than just bad adverts, to use ad buffs. It was challenging to find the different ways to close the various adverts as they popped up. while multitasking the movement.

Those ads reminded me so much of the rubbish you end up with on your screen when visiting dark parts of the web....um..so I've been told. hah, Nice mood, and although repetivive, it gets it's point across.

The idea/story are interesting, and the game deferentially got some spooky atmosphere. I would have liked some more gameplay. Overall a fine LD game.

I really liked the game !
I loved the graphics, took time to read the ads (bit unusual isn't it?), and liked the music.
The difficulty could increase quicker because the game tends to become repetitive after a score of 100.
Good job :)

Why do some ads make the screen go funny when you close it and others don't?

@jonathan50 some ads install useful software while others install viruses (hence the static).
