Hi guys, My name is Ola, I'm an artist who did most of the art for the game (characters/faces).

It's my second time taking part in ludum dare, together with my boyfriend, Nikita. First one was more than a year ago, And I have to admit, I've learned a lot since then :) Our first LD game did quite good, but our experience was rather stressful, and the game was kinda dark and heavy.

This time we wanted the opposite. Stress-free experience and short, funny, 2d game about something close to our heart. No stress, just fun, if we won't finish, that's A-OK~!

Our team is Polish/Ukrainian, That's why we chose slav culture as main topic of the game.

Main character, Gopnik, is spending his free time chilling on the bench. Suddenly, a wild Pigeon King arrives, demanding a tribute! Problem is, we don't have anything to give... That's why we have to use our high persuasion skills, and maybe some violence, to collect the goods of citizens passing by.

About development:

I've designed 6 characters, and prepared them for animation. Then Grzesiek, our animator, created walk in unity. In "fight mode" each character has 3 faces: Base, Sad and Angry. My main goal during character creation was to make them look shitty :D Since I'm not able to do everything, Nensi took care of some additional graphics, bless her!

Another extremely important part of the game was music, which was created by ЯЩЕР (who also created well detailed BG for the scene). Fun part about music in our game, is you can actually change the songs during the gameplay.

Nikita, Grzesiek, Nikolay and Misha did scripting and all that tech things. I know shit about programming except some HTML stuff from my school times...soooo...you know.

Guys I'm so sleepy, they order me to write this, But I want to go to sleep :D BUT Our game is not finished hahahah, But you know what? WHATEVER, hope you like it anyway! We'll finish this in the future for sure, so stay tuned for all the updates!
