WASD move Space eat and heal LeftClick shoot

Restart the game to replay. I had a restart button, but it was bugged.

Try to survive in a zombie apocalypse. Collect ressources, but be carefull to not carry too much since weight will slow you down and the noise will attract zombies.

Have fun!

I get a 404 on the Windows Game Link. Can't play your game. Also, all the links are the same.
Now there is a price on the game? WTF

Interesting game. How do you get more bullets? I ran out and did not find any. The enemy is a little too easy as well.

Sorry for all the inconveniences, I set some parameters badly on itch.io.

Nice zombie shooter. But IMO it lacks motivation. Player can avoid any encounter with zombie by running away. Would be nice to have something like hunger. Player would need to kill some zombies and find some tasty food to stay alive. And I've heard no sounds in game. Maybe it would be better to opt out music from ratings? Anyway, solid game and nice submission!

Interesting concept, simple but solid and got room for improvement.

As @kothead mentioned I also think the game need some kind of "motivation" to fight. And the game right now is a bit too easy to show its concept.

IMO the game would be at its best when players feel the dilemma of having to choose between either stocking lots of ammo/food for better chance of survival or carrying little for less chance of being detected.

Anyway it's a solid game & concept, right now it mostly need some sound I think :)

The idea of the game is really fun. At first i thought the game was very easy. It was only after making a huge amount of space around me that i regret not taking the time to aim properly. Well implemented!

The only thing missing here is the sounds which I wish there was.

Otherwise, great game, i had fun playing it! :)

Hey good job. Can't go wrong with a good overhead shooter. Nice theme implementation, I found myself wishing for levels or an endgoal, also sounds.. but nice job!

Good direction over all. Upgrades, scenery changes, and increasing difficulty are the next logical additions. Not a bad start for 48 hours at all though. Also, can he always look where the mouse is pointed? That would feel better too.

Nice idea, but not that well implemented. I'm not sure if I'm doing something wrong but I got stuck all the time (without even picking up any stuff). I played the game on OSX and have java version 1.8.0_144.

Idea is good, the game flow is there and has good balance between player skill and difficulty. However, I think the hitbox is a little too small, so picking up items requires you to be directly on top of it, rather than just touching it. Also, I swear I pressed Space a few times and nothing happened? I died because of that.

Cool game! Some more visual and audio feedback for when you shoot would be nice. Nice artwork though! Good job.

Too simple with potential! Good controls but the balancing between items and being faster was too easy. It was fun though for a while. And the space bar doesn't seem to work all the time for eating.

it is too easy to flee and we can survive the infinite without fighting

Is there any stores or anything or does money just slow you down? I was hoping to find cool stuff while exploring

This is a cool game. I would have liked added sounds effects, and I found it to be easy--better pathfiding for the zombies would have been nice to add more of a challence.

The concept is good and can be potentially very interesting to play. Game itself seems to need more polishment. Sometimes I got stuck and could not move anywhere although my surrounding space is all empty. Other controls are fine.

Hi the zip/rar doesn't contain any exe. I've specially checked to ensure that I'm not downloading the source code.

Could do with some sound effects. Also with better AI. Right now it's too easy to just walk backwards and make the zombies come at you one by one.

yishalee that's because it is a jar you need to install java on your computer.

It's waaaay too easy. Just run around with under 100 ammo and shoot zombies when you get bored. They are slow and pose no threat.

Shooting the zombies felt nice with them falling back a little. It made them seem sort of unstoppable at first. But then it just became way too easy. I didn't really have to worry about getting caught, which made the meat feel useless. Also, was I supposed to be eating human?

The first time I ran out of bullets and then couldn't do anything but run away. But you move so much faster than the zombies that that wasn't a problem. Really I just wished that I had somewhere to go. That was true in general. I mostly just wanted a reason to do anything, or for it to be much harder. There could be more zombies appearing, or if they had better path finding I might have had more problems on my hands. As it was I just had to line them up so most of them got caught on a corner and shoot the few that made it around.

Lastly, the mac version crashed on me several times, though I appreciate that you built one.

I think that with a few more features it could be really fun.

Find yourself a narrow hallway and start shooting. Nice top-down shooter. The WASD was a little sticky for me but tolerable for a game jam!

I feel as though the main problem with this game can be boiled down to it's lack of zombie pathfinding. Since the zombies will simply try to walk in the direction of your player character, simply getting into a tight space or very narrow area can prevent all but a few zombies from ever reaching you. Even then, because the bullets are not random in their placement, it's very difficult to even accidentally create an opening for the zombies. There's a reason why it's common for monsters in games to move sideways as well as towards the player, to make misses more likely.

I like the idea here; a zombie shooter where the more gear you have the slower you move/ the harder it gets. It just needs more improvement on the implementation side: like what does the money do? It just seems to slow me down with no way to get rid of it. I think a good way to take this game would be to turn it into a generic top-down zombie shooter, but focus on the survival aspects of needing to collect gear and take it back to a base. Right now there's no need to pick anything up since it just slows you down and makes it easier to die.

Anyways, I think this has a lot of potential; if you do keep working on it I would definitely be interested in playing it.

This is a nice little game, it has all of the main mechanics in it and works. But the satisfactory feeling is missing from the game. The Polish. To be honest, whilst playing the game, it felt a little empty. There were no particle effects, sound or screen shakes. There was always that missing feel to the game. If your ever considering to work on the game, please do. This game has so much potential, it just needs that tlc and elbow grease. While on the polish topic, here is a video of someone polishing the simple game of Breakout: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Fy0aCDmgnxg

I really hope that you have learnt a few lessons from this and build on. Work on this game, make it look nicer (not just graphically but aesthetically). All in all, this game is a huge achievement. Congratulations!
