INSTRUCTIONS:

Your goal depends on who you are playing as. If you are playing as Alana, your goal is to make sure the Duumvir doesn't make it to Earth. Slow down the ship and damage it to decrease its Health to speed things along.

If you're playing as the Alien, you have to keep the ship in one piece until you reach Earth. However, you can only gain control for a certain amount of time, so use your time wisely to keep the ship in good repair and try to speed the journey up however you can!

As a certain book once said, space is big. Very big. So there's a fair few hazards that may come your way. Each hazard you encounter can be countered using one of the devices on board the ship - it's your job to work out which device counters which hazard!

I have precious little time to explain, it could take over at any moment.

Whilst exploring Uncharted Exoplanet IX-28, we encountered a parasitic alien creature that infected the entire crew, including myself. Captain Walker told me to take the ship offworld and leave them behind, to prevent it from spreading. I don't know if it can spread itself through air, and I don't know if the ship is infected, but this thing is powerful, and determined.

Its goal is unclear but it appears to want to spread its seed to other places - it's already burrowed into my memory and is making an attempt to return the ship to Earth. I black out sometimes and have to fight for control. Every time I do something, sometimes it feels as if it's... tugging at my brain, trying to do the opposite. At time of writing our ETA - that is, mine, the alien's and the ship computer's - is 30 minutes.

If you are reading this log, I beg of you now, DESTROY THIS SHIP AND BURN MY BODY WITH IT. This thing cannot be allowed to reach Earth. And before it does, I intend to go down with the ship. Ensign Alana Baynton, Scout Ship Duumvir, signing off… hopefully for the last time.

I think it's broken. After playing the game for a little bit, my blue bar (I think that's my ship's health) was completely depleted, but nothing happened. Then, when I got to the planet, I assumed my ship would stop and the game would go YOU WIN! But it didn't. The ship went out of the UI and into space. Audio was decent and the graphics were okay. Good concept, just a couple bugs.

The idea and graphics are great. In the begining i was a little confused which device is which, and what an item is, but after 1 minute i got the hang of things. I liked it.🤩

I played it for about 5m and I have almost no idea what was hapenning. I would say what it needs most is clarity. Whenever something happens, let the player know what happens, why it happened and what he did to make that happen. Cheers

I really tried to figure this one out. Got a friend to play too. We were both confused as to what to do. For some reason we really couldn't get the second player to pick anything up or control the cursor really. Might be a problem w my numpad. It can be a little hard to tell when the players switch. The ship looks great and the music is perfect!

At first, it took a bit of getting-used-to , but after figuring out what does what, and what goes where, it was pretty fun. I like the overall idea and the look of it, great choices! The music also fits really well with the game itself. The momentum of Alien taking over also comes as a surprise, and that too took a bit of getting used to, but that also came quickly. Nicely done! One thing I did notice, however, was that the picking up with the numpad, didn't quite work all the time, could also be that I did something wrong. Neither the less, fun expierence !

At first I was a bit confused as to what to do, and when I eventually got the hang of it I kept getting stuck, unable to move. Nevertheless I feel like the concept was good, and that if further polished, would prove to be a great game.

This is a great game and the concept is a bit bonkers. The graphical style is cool, sort of retro EGA-ish and very fitting. Music and audio are also really good. I guess a little more player guidance wouldn't go amiss, but once you get the hang of it, this is a solid title. Oh and don't worry about 'Mr. No-Linux' above ^^ - he's been telling everyone off, including for my own game. Great work, you should definitely consider developing this further.
