Ninja-Vu by doomshmuck
You are a Ninja who has ninja-trated the Tower of Ninjestiny. Un-beknownst to you, the world you have entered consists of an ever changing room. It is unknown what causes this phenomena, but that cappuccino stain looks realllly familiar. Sneak past the roaming guards as you attempt to achieve your ninjestiny and become a LE-NINJA-ND!
All pain and injury resulting in the awful word play is at the player's discretion.

Guards ninjastandably have X-ray vision and can also detect sneaky shinobi right behind them, even if they're not touching. Lesser reviewers might chalk it up to bad game nin-chanics, but I know they will stop at nothing to keep you from your Ninjestiny!
The xray vision was something I wanted to fix but unfortunately ran out of time. Ah well, that's a game jam for you I suppose.
It was kind of fun figuring out how to complete the levels as you made some intereseting challenges.
Oh and I really dig the music and the sound effects!
A bit hard due to the hitbox bug, but I managed to get to the 5th level after many tries!
But it's still well-done! Maybe consider adding more polish to the game for the Post-LD version, like adding juicy transition between levels, after main menu, or when the player die, etc...
Anyway good entry, good luck for the next! =)
As for the gameplay, it would have been really good except for a few issues, the cone of view for the enemies doesn't quite line up with the actual detection range. But the more glaring issue is that enemies can see you through walls, it makes some of the solutions to levels a bit weird.
The game controls were intuitive, and the game play was graspable straight away. You conveyed the core aspects visually well so it was easy to see what was what. I had a lot of fun playing this game, and that's the core thing - you got the core concepts across for your game and I'd like to see it expanded.
Also I liked the floor designs, increased in difficulty over time but this made it more fun for me.
Thanks for creating and sharing! Also congrats for getting all this into the comp!
Other than that, it's pretty good.
