The actual game mechanics were a bit clunky though.  It was very difficult to determine how to make an egg survive.  Initially I thought that you just had to click the egg as soon as possible, but that would cause the egg to just die further in the foreground.  Eventually I guessed you had to let the egg stay in it's spawn location until just before it cracks then move it forward but I wasn't entirely sure.
